Its not a good idea to allow your Toyota to auto open when you put in park . Go into Toyota settings and shut it off so when in park , it stays locked.

… just a small piece of advice

It's also not a good idea to have a dog as a co-pilot, yet...there you are.

Obviously a subjective opinion. But I am curious as to why you think so?

last thing you want is an uninvited ‘guest’ to open your door when you are parked

Indeed. It would depend on where you are I guess. I hope such a thing has not happened to you. I like the auto unlock feature, and will not be changing it.

An uninvited "guest" would unexpectedly suffer from a sever case of lead poisoning......

Also not good idea to pull up and park in an area you do not feel is safe enough.

Just like to add that life is all about odds and chances. Dependent of where you frequent and crime rates. Most of the time I need all doors open after reaching a destination to load and unload. Just be aware of your surroundings. If someone like that is nearby you should have spotted them and keep an eye on them anyways

Interesting option, i might change that. Presume this is somewhere buried in the settings on the touch display?

God is my cop-pilot, dog is the gunner and he's not one to ask questions first or at all for that matter.
