what diameter wheel do you want to run? Anything +35 to 0 offset you will be fine running 35x12.5. You will need to pin back the fender liner, but thats a zip tie and 20 seconds worth of work.

    Hello,
My truck is on it's way from San Antonio, FINALLY!! Should have it in a couple of weeks. I'm about to get my larger tires ordered Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/60/20. Just a quick question for anyone with experience regarding this.

Has anyone used the Discount Tire Instant Price Match vs Amazon?

    Thanks

Another option for us to help dress up the wheel
My truck is white and has the TRD red/Blk decal from the factory. Thought it would look good to take the White/Blk/Red into the wheels.

No fade at all. But I don’t tow … Tundra has Good size front brakes.
Caliper covers have been around for years and it’s never been a known concern of it causing brake fade from heat.
The back of the caliper is fully exposed so there def cooling.

Something to think about…Porsche powder coats all there calipers so the raw metal of the caliper is sealed and we know how well they perform.
Can’t see anyone having any issues with these covers because they still allow heat to escape.
    IMO

Just about everyone makes a good wheel these days, a lot of it boils down to style preference, color and offset. Personally I always try to find the lightest weight wheel that's tough enough to perform for my needs. I love my blackhorn BH01's- ultralight, very affordable and look fresh (minus the hideous center cap that I've covered with a ebay domed TRD sticker). Not a huge fan of fuel wheels- everyone has them and they are heavy. KMC makes some cool forged wheels, Method's are a staple (certain styles are definitely way too popular), etc.

Yes it’s a good idea to watch weight but also I would never pick a lighter wheel over one that you luv its style.
U will have these wheels for a long time. If you don’t love them it will bother you everytime you look at them and you will regret you bought them. If you love one wheel but it’s a few lbs heavier ??? Buy it you won’t regret it.
A wheel u don’t enjoy looking at will go up for sale quickly :)

You will rub but can be fixed and it’s not because of the offset that is fine it’s the shear size of the tire
Will have to remove front mud flap and pin back the felt wheel well on the front back area. May have to trim some felt away. Not a big deal. Also you may hit the metal flange that you see sticking out in the back inner wheel well on the front. If you do it may need to be cut hopefully not. Westcott designs are the ones I would call if you rub. They have parts to help when running 37s
+12 to +20 offset seems to work best. To give you an idea. Going from +12 to +20 is a diff of 1/4 inch. Helped me knowing that.
I ran a 18x9 with +20 perfect poke for me but I did have to remove the front mud flap and double sided tape the very bottom of the felt liner no trimming.
My tire is a 305/70/18 Recon Grappler
34.8 tall 10.0 tread 12.2 section width. Went that route over 35/12.5 because it was 5 lbs lighter per tire and a little taller that I wanted. 34.8 compared to 34.2 and D rated load index instead E rated.
That what makes it fun we all have something we’re looking for in wheels and tires.

Good luck and keep us posted

Euro Driver if there BFG KO3 then yes there a little smaller then what’s stated on sidewall but def will not be 33.5 more like 34.2ish, It’s been measured on 35/12.5. Friends tires. Never seen a 35/12.5 that measured 33.5…properly inflated.
But your using 37s correct ??

NinJew that looks like a 3/1 lift those
    37s

With 37s it does require some work to get them to clear. Nothing crazy. Running 35s looks awesome and requires less mods if any for clearance.

Welcome, friend. I’ll pm you with some info. Basically you need a lift of some sort, a good alignment, and maybe some trimming to fit this size tire (37”). The wheels are SCS F5.

I don’t do off/roaring technically but I do over-land a lot. The diff for me is I don’t intentionally go into extreme situations but more off the grid adventuring. In my Tacoma I’ve been in places like Imogene Pass, Moab rim trails, and also serious mud. Even then I usually didn’t max out the articulation. Once I get to some technical adventures with my Tundra, I’ll post about how it handled.
