Found a set with 60k on them. Would need a rebuild for sure

Not sure on value, but I would definitely recommend reaching out to Fox to see what a rebuild would cost on those, if its something they offer service on.

I looked it up last night and they do service them but it takes 3 weeks and it’s about $130 per shock. I think I’m going to just buy a new suspension setup

Not when people want $1500 for old takeoffs

    $520 < $1500

The only thing is the wait time for rebuilding.

$520 to rebuild, but I don’t think anyone is “finding” these laying around. Have to buy them off someone. Most want $$$ despite the usable life being gone and in need of rebuild. If they were new at $1500, not bad. But used up and want $1000-1500 for them and then have to rebuild them? Meh

I was under the assumption they were already owned so yes where you're coming from makes sense.

which is exactly the price he gave me. I’ll buy new and probably not the TRD Pro setup. Been researching Dobinsons, Ironman and my old standby Old Man Emu. I know they won’t ride as nice but they’re pretty bulletproof once dialed in and I’d be in those for damn near the same money

Sending shocks to Fox was not worth it.
Shipping to them from La was over $100.00.
The “service” best I can tell was hitting them with a hose and adding or changing the fluid.
Mine had stickers chewed up, tried to charge me for stickers and never installed them.

If they aren’t leaking or showing leaks I’d recommend leaving them alone. Heck, Fox didn’t take the time to orient the tophats and springs, left both sides saying, left. Not an issue or a big deal but attention to detail was lacking.
