I need a vin number for a midnight black Platimun trim...

I'm trying to find some parts for my Limited but to get the correct color code I realized they are on a platinum. I'm trying to replace the two rear bumper plates that are Chrome on The Limited. I want to color match them to the midnight black and from what I understand they come color matched on a platinum truck. If any of you guys out there have a black Platinum Tundra can you please share the last 8 to 10 digits of your VIN number with me?

you can always go on autotrader and look for a truck specd the way you want and get the vin there

 

Or a Toyota dealer web site and get a window sticker.

I’m pretty sure all replacement body parts from Toyota come unpainted. So if you were replacing one on a Platinum you would order the part and then pay a body shop to paint it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
