I agree, I was thinking going from a 275/70/18 to a 285/75/18 wont be that much because on paper it really isn't. Until you put them on

Here we go again. Probably got 1 more trailer full to stack then I'm good for next year. Then I can finally get my truck cleaned and keep up with it.

I love my diamondback bed cover but after cleaning fawn color dog hair out the inside of a black interior truck everytime, the more a cap appeals to me as well. Plus the height I'd gain. Maybe 1 day, but content for now, with eyes open for a steal.

I have about 6 cord in 3-6' log lengths to cut and split, but no time to do it. The gnats are brutal right now too.

I hear ya. I burn thru 6 cords plus some every year. I get lengths delivered then buck n split in fall for the next year. Then spring I'll bring up and stack in my yard for the next winter so it sits for a year. I hear ya on time, I never have enough but wifey has come to understand it's something I gotta do any free moment.

Here's the aftermath of a dirty truck for those that want less talk and more pics.

Took the first step in building out the cap by installing a headliner. After considering several materials, I settled on 1/2" PVC sheet. I'll cut some holes for the vent and insulate it next.

Ok. I just this today. I installed the VLEDS and it plugged it into my VLEDS footwell lights. The package came with a 3 way splitter that plugs into the plug that plugs into that little driver side footwell light socket. Took like 3.5-4 hrs. It wasn’t easy either. I know some say it is but it was a PITA to get that large end through the rubber grommets. Not to mention I broke my passenger mirror glass trying to get it off. Now I need a new one. But it’s all done and love the outcome. Wished I had a switch also but I like when they automatically turn on when I approach. I’ll look into getting rock lights with a switch another time. Here are some pics.

In about six months this will be me but with a water tank in the bed of the truck as well. One reason for the shell.

I absolutely love them! Ran a set of 285/75/16s on my Tacoma on the exact same wheels and color in a 16" and ran them for 30k and had zero complaints. They are great in all types of weather!!! They were quiet as a mouse the entire time!!!!

Music like that on a full spectrum stereo system is enjoyment that few of us are able to enjoy...short of the live show.

When is the last time you enjoyed a 120db full spectrum system? it is one of life's truly enjoyable tribal gifts.
Mine was in '05 - my '96 4runner had such a system. Life & kids prevented a rebuild....

    When was the 1st time?
