I got them from tire rack . What I like is they mounted and balanced with tpms sensors and centric rings for $168 . That also includes the correct lug nuts too

I am going through the same options. 285 will fit. It's about 34.6" tire. 275/65 is about 34.1". Both will look better than OEM. I am thinking 275 is probably enough without throwing the speedometer and odometer out too much. About 4.6% for 275 vs 6% for 285. Small difference though.

Cooper AT3 XLT is a good tire, by the way. I have had them before and that's what I am looking at for the next set.

Why would the width of the tire throw off the speedometer and odometer?

    Diameter changes with width, too.

The aspect ratio (55, 60, 65) is a ratio of the width of the tire, so a 265 width tire with 55 sidewall and a 286 width with 55 sidewall will have different sidewall dimensions, even though both are 55.
Therefore different diameters, so different impact to speedometer.

To answer your question your right all things being equal width alone will never change your Speedo…

3" Readylift SST Supsension 20x9 Platinum Fuel Cycle Wheels 315/60/20 Nitto Recon Grapplers
I posted in another thread, but wanted to share here as well. I went with the 20x9 Fuel Cycle Wheels, 1mm offset. Tires are Nitto Recon Grapplers, 315/60/20. I chose this size vs the traditional 35x12.5's because they weigh 57 lbs vs. 70 lbs and are slightly larger. Lift is Readylift SST 3" lift. The rear 1.25" lift wasn't enough for me, swapped out the 1.25" for 2" rear spacers. Now rear sits .5" higher than front. No rubbing after pinning back inner fender lining.

upload_2023-4-24_16-38-44.jpgTotally understand why you did what you did. Of course your rim is heavier but when I looked into this it was usually lighter to go bigger wheel and tire like a 20 as compared to an 18.

My set up 18x9 +20 wheel 34 lbs
    Fuel Rebel 6
    Tires 305/70/18 was 68 lbs=102lbs total
    Verse
    20x9 +20 was 37lbs
    Tire 285/65/20 was 60 lbs=97 lbs

Both tires are similar width and height.
Yes the 305 is wider and taller.
    34.6 to 34.8 overall width 11.8 yo 12.2

I went 18s because I like the look, more sidewall so little softer ride and I was able to get a Recon Grappler in a load D rating
Anything in the 20 tire was a load range E
    Looks great congrats

^ This is also what I've found, going to 20's with an AT tire is gonna be lighter than a similar setup in 18's.

Is there a house in that pic lol Cmon this is Tundra talk

I was going to say when I put 295s on my truck at 2000 miles from the stock 265s both on stock rim I added about 20 lbs in tire but I truly didn’t notice a difference.
I know a lot of people don’t like the Twin Turbo V6. They want the V8 and I get it for sound alone
    BUT
one thing a bigger V8 350ci can never give you is the low end torque that turbos can.
The 3rd Gen doesn’t recognize heavier wheels as much as the V8 or any V8.
Peak torque on the TT-V6 is like 2500. Very low in the rpm band.
On any V8 it’s going to be higher. Like
3500 rpm. That’s a huge diff plus the actual total torque number will never be as high on the Naturally Aspirated V8 as a forced induction set up.
Not bad mouthing either set up. There totally diff beasts. I luv the low end grunt turbos give without losing anything on the big end. It’s a awesome setup IMO. Witch means nothing just an opinion.

The only place I rub is the very inner center of the front mud flap on full turn. If I took them off it would clear
I think I’m going to leave them on and just let the tire smooth it out. Anyone ever do this ?

Hey @Jinkx if you get the WeatherTech mud flaps you won’t have to worry about the rub at full turn. Their flaps are more rigid and don’t have that inner part where your tire is rubbing. I had the same issue. I hated to buy another set of mud flaps but the $99 was worth it.

Hey, New 2023 MGM Tundra Plat here.
I am looking at going with Fuel Rebel 6 D681 (Bronze) w/ a +20 Offset.
I plan on getting a leveling kit, but can I fit a Ridge Grappler set (275/65/R20) and the Rebel without rubbing before the level?
Stock Suspension. No AVS. No Lift.
