1st gens to Sedona 2023!!!

Baker and Barstow make me think about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I probably wouldn't know those towns existed if I hadn't read that book

 

Grand Canyon is one of the wonders of the world that cannot be experienced with a photo. You have to be there and feel the enormity of it. Great first Gen photo op as well. Those are two stellar examples.

I'll try to post some pics when i get to town, but so far polo's really digging the nomad lifestyle.

 

I mean, thinking about it from his perspective, rhodies are like our plotthounds, they're genetically engineered for hunting. Imagine all the damn smells and what an adventure that must be for lil dude. Should be a good bonding experience for you guys. Hell, maybe he'll do less dickish stuff on the flip side

 

We had a crazy day. We sedated our dog and left her to rest at our Air BNB this morning while we drove an hour south to Sedona for the day. Fast forward to 1000 and we're almost to the top of The Devils Bridge hike. I get cell service for a minute and see a notification from our Air BNB host saying he hopes we enjoyed our stay and that the cleaning crew was there.... A nice way of saying why TF is your stuff still here along with a stoned dog. I almost shit my pants. Long story short, my dumbass screwed up and only booked two nights instead of 3. We shuffled back to our truck as fast as possible then I absolutely abused my truck driving as fast as I could on that trail without hitting any hikers. Weird sharing trails with people on foot.

To make it worse, @des2mtn had driven down to join us and was waiting for us at the trail head. I had aired down for the trail but forgot my air compressor in Flagstaff. He was kind enough to wait at least 30 minutes for us so he could air me back up. We then hauled ass back to Flagstaff to get all our stuff out of the air bnb so the next guests could check in. We then had to find a different place to stay for the night and relocate there. Talk about anxiety. Damn near ruined a perfect day. Sedona is absolutely beautiful.

 

Hot damn, adventure within an adventure!

What a classic. Loved that game as a kid. Some great memories playing that with my brothers. Impressed with the quality on such a big screen. I bet you two had fun
