I’m looking at these 2 running boards in the title. One is steel other is aluminum. If anyone is running either of these I would like to see pictures of how tight they are to the truck for ground clearance.
    Thanks
    Jeremy

I just ordered the RC BA2. Hopefully it’s a good value pick. I’ll keep you posted

I installed the RC BA2 on my father in laws trail boss they are nice and held up well through this winter still look new. Thought about getting them for my tundra as well since everyone complains about getting in and out of my truck.

Did they fit up tighter along the body or hang down some? I’m looking for somthing that will stay up tighter/higher. Thanks for the input

That would be good. Ya I don’t expect flush but closer than the nerf bars that came on my truck would be nice. Pics always appreciated

Ya they definitely are closer than nerd bars. I don’t like running boards at all but out of all the once’s I’ve seen these and amp power steps are the two that are the most appealing.

Ya I would prefer nothing but I like a running board to help with rock chips as I live on gravel. I had a Tacoma with the boards and they really helped with the rock chips.

I finally got them on. It took me a while to get the OEM rock rails off, but installing the RC were really easy. I’d recommend installing the brackets on to the truck first, contrary to the instructions that say to install the bracket to the running board first.
Side note: I now have the rock rails for sale

I included before and after pics

What are the arrows on the top of the running board made of?
