I have OBD fusion on my iPhone and a Veepeak reader. I am getting data from my 2023 Tundra Platinum. I would like to get transmission temps, current gear, and torque converter lock information. Do I use the Toyota enhanced PIDs for 2021? There is no option for 2022+
Can I use user defined PIDs if not? Where can I find the correct PIDs if I need them?
I have searched, but don’t see answers for 2022+ trucks, but perhaps I have overlooked them
    Thanks
    Bryan

Bump! I had scanner app from android store that I was able to get trans temp for my 2018 Highlander thanks to developer adding the PID . So far the developer hasn’t released any updates for the tundra. Would love to know if there’s another app since I tow a travel trailer

Bump again! Also looking for any PIDs for the 2022+, or an app other than OBD Fusion that supports the 2022+. Also tow a travel trailer and would like to be able to see this information.

I have been messing around with obd fusion for a couple days and I haven't seen a PID that outputs the current gear. Only some neutral status, no trans temp either :(

I've got the obdlink mx+ Purchased it specifically to do a drain and fill on my Tacoma where you need to have the tranny temp in a certain range to make sure its filled to factory specs. (stupid "never drain" toyota design) I'd say after 100k the stuff needed to be flushed.

I used the device on my 2023 Tundra. I can get all sort of things like boost, timing etc. I'll connect it again and see about tranny temps. I really really wanted it to show oil pressure but that seems to be a vendor specific item but oil temp is there no problem. Ugh.
Contacted the manufacturers support about getting oil pressure. They dont have all the manufacturer specific data for the 22/23 vehicles yet. Best they have is 2021. So of course I put it in as a 2021 Tundra to see what i can see from the device. Still a work in progress.

App that I am using with the MX+ is obdlink

So are you able to see the transmission temp on your 2023 tundra with this scanner and app?

Tried it today for you. Nope. The option is there but the readings arent showing anything. (you add things to view in your dashboard and are viewable for various vehicles)
So while it works for the Tacoma, 4runner and Sienna. No joy on the Tundra yet. Did update their firmware to the latest as well for the blue tooth reader.
On their website it looks like they are supporting up to years 2021 right now. The next update for the 2022 year should get the Tundra covered.

In the Fusion app Is there a gear indicator that shows the current gear the transmission is in. I really don’t know why Toyota doesn’t have that info displayed. A small bother on an otherwise nice truck. My 1st Toyota and I see why they are popular
