    Hello All,

purchased a 2023 1794 TRD and added the 3” TRD lift. With the 3” lift added, the TRD skid plate no longer fits. The existing spacer kits are only for 2021 and earlier models and seemingly for 2” lifts. Can anyone point me in the direction of a spacer kit which will allow me to install my TRD skid plate? Thanks in advance!

I’m trying to track your response/suggestions… so which kit do I need to buy and where do I need to put what? Effectively I understand I need to purchase a spacer kit. But cutting certain spacers and using certain ones in certain spots?

You’ll have to measure and determine the clearances you need for your lift kit.
Mine is not the TRD 3” kit.
The Readylift 2020 model spacer kit I bought had way more parts and plates and wrong bolts than needed. I had to source more 8mm bolts than were supplied for length.
My spacers are different lengths as the lift kit I have installed has a diff drop.

I have a 22 Tundra SR5 and recently got the TRD 3” lift. I had previously bought the TRD skid plate but found it didn’t fit after altering the sway bar from the lift. Made it work with spacers from the ReadyLift TRD PRO LIFT KIT. Used 2 of the large spacers (3.5”)in front of skid plate and two of the medium length spacers for middle and back of skid plate. It leveled the skid plate up nicely and covers the sway bar nicely. Had to get two kits though to have the spacers needed. Finding the bolts for the front was a bit of a challenge but they are available at most hardware stores (M8x1.25x110mm for front bolts) or 4.25”. Only issue now is the large gap in front of skid leaving radiator vulnerable to possible damage. Will go to a machine shop and see if I can fabricate something to close the gap.

    TRD Lift, TRD skid.
I have TRD Lift, I placed my skid plate above my sway bar, not ideal but keeps a smoother ride with less potential for binding

While not answering your question... How do you like the 3" lift overall in terms of look/performance and price?

The 3” TRD lift is great. Super smooth. The salesman who sold it to me had a different lift on his Tundra and wanted to compare. Said mine was so much smoother he couldn’t believe it. Now I just need to figure out how to mount this skid plate

This is a huge oversight. No one buys a lift and leaves without a skidplate, at least not intentionally. If they are going to sell this lift kit, the need to mitigate the skid plate issue. Mine was dealer installed. They actually just left the plate off. Fortunately it was on the sticker and I insisted they put it back on. I don't like the outside sway bar, it's not a good solution. Figure it out and build it into the kit.
