Listen here man. I'm driving almost 2,000 miles through 6 states with a nearly 14 year old Husky that will pace in my bed the entire time. If I can make it, you can suck it up. You better be there.

Do you ever give him Dramamine or whatever? Certain trips we dope up the boys and dog. 30 miles of switchbacks makes some people puke

Fajitas turned out great on the griddle. Probably 6 layers of veg oil, and the fajitas, onions, peppers, and squash all cooked perfect, even though it doesnt get as hot as my smokers fire box or gas side. Cant cook 3 slices of bacon. Theres too much surface area, every morning is gonna need 8 pieces. Sorry i didnt get pics, polo was a handful, and all excited. This took about an hour longer than expected considering how quick he got comfortable in the truck.

Dunno about him, but i'm excited. As someone who spent high school summers traveling, i'm disappointed i dont go places more often. But i moved out of the city, so i dont have to go anywhere to get out of the hustle & bustle. Anyway, super excited to get a taste of blm land camping. I usually camp closer to the road.

I need a layer of bacon grease for my eggs to turn out right. Its just how i do it. But you set bacon on a paper towel for a couple hours, you have a decent snack with a piece of bread. I didnt think about bringing my pork press, but flat bacon might be easier to keep in a cooler. Also test ran the stove, and its a beast because of the wind wings. Depending on what flagstaff has i might be able to cook up some queso.

im getting about 3 hours of heat out of each green can. Might go get an adapter to let me refill off the big tank. Also have a propane torch that fits the green cans. And enough skewers that a bag of marshmallows might go a long way. Or hotdogs. Again, depends what can be got near camp.

Just like in The Usual Suspects, "Remarking on Söze's mythical nature, Kint says, 'The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist'."

The petroleum industry and big business are Söze, and our political figures are the easiest scapegoat for Söze to distract you from seeing Söze is really the issue. Don't buy into the hype, it's all a redirection to make you aim your rage elsewhere, away from the actual problem. Ultimately triggering you to point your rage at political opponents, while Söze continues raking in money by causing the issues. The trap is real, and we've all been falling in it for too long. Those MF'ers are trying to keep you from having beers with like-minded individuals, because they need to keep us apart, with everyone at each others' throats. It's all part of their plan. BUCK THE SYSTEM.

That's why this forum is awesome, killing political BS chatter. It scrapes away that phony-ass bullshit layer entirely, and lets us talk about non-manufactured bullshit, bond, and solve problems. Ever wonder why it's so productive here versus other places? Great diversity of thoughts and experience, awesome mix of humans, and no petty ass political grandstanding and fighting that would otherwise turn this place into another echo chamber for whoever manages to dominate said squabbles.

It's legit. I'm not talking out of my ass here. Conflict drives profits, and there's always a motive of money behind the manufactured conflicts popping up every day. "I didn't do it! It's that guy over there! Attack him!"

Now get your head on straight, work a couple hours of OT or sell some crap you don't need out of the attic and garage, and pool it into your T2S slush fund.

Too funny. I posted same vid over in the Lunch table thread a few months back. I'd love to find a 'behind the video' segment on that one, I can't even imagine how much they were sweating balls in those costumes.

Ok you talked me into it. I'll take out a second mortgage on my house or put my wife on a street corner and tell her to make us some gas money by whatever means necessary.

We are going! I went to the grocery store today and got all the needed groceries and an extra bottle of Jack.
Then made up the promised batch of our world famous "The Chewey" chocolate chip cookies. These are being frozen right now to be baked on site. If anyone, @FrenchToasty , would like a "special" cookie, we can add an extra ingredient prior to baking.

Well then, I guess you could bring some premium booze or mixers; or keep a full ice chest. It'll be great being able to avoid doing what you don't do well, but get fed in exchange for contributing to the party.

The cool thing about this event this many years in is, almost all of us are ready and capable rescuers. :smokertransformer:

No no no. Rescuing is my job and I will take all my frustrations out on the nearest drywall if someone tries to take that away from me :frusty:

in all seriousness though all my new mods make this thing even more built for recovery and I’m excited to test out the new toys :D
