Tundras to Sedona - 2023

So are there still going to be designated sections for "Vegas in the woods" and "Shh I'm here for nature"?

 

We’re really sorry about that. Was hoping against hope the warm weather these past few weeks would be enough to get us into our normal spot. Not sure if it’s too late, but flagstaff has lots of hotels that are closer to cinders.

I will be closer to the trails at least!

 

I believe I know of these mid year ideas. Is this what Bruce was thinking up last year? I might be down to help with planning this other excursion

 

Any idea what the elevation is at the new location? I'm curious if it will be warmer or colder.

 

Look at weather for Flagstaff. Elevation is comparable. Right around 7000’

 

I know you guys drive fast, but Schnebly to the cinders in 15 minutes is pretty impressive!

Haha! From the original campsite to Sedona, and from cinders to Sedona is a 15 minute delta.

 

But I have made it from Sedona to camp in 18 minutes.

I think @papasmurf did 17 minutes.

I was looking forward to all the ribbing you guys were going to give me for not brining a tundra!

That being said we sent a full 2nd Gen skid/cat protector set and a 3rd Gen aluminum/engine skid setup!

Yes, Best gen = 1st gen.

We've got several coming. Eldest is a 2000. I think we'll span all 1st gen years through 2006. I'll be beyond impressed if you guys offer aftermarket skids or cat protection for our trucks!

I'm still bringing you Skid Row cat protectors. My new Skid Row transmission skid shipped today and is expected to arrive at my buddies shop Thursday, for reinforcement. If he gets it done in time, I'll swing by his shop omw to Amarillo and swap in the new skid. My old transmission skid would come with me in that case. Likely to be given away to someone at T2S because it's seen some shit lol

 

I have a full set of Skid Row, standing by to accept your cat protection side add-ons at the great price you quoted me.

But if Talon comes through with aftermarket support for our 1st gen homies, I'll pimp it everywhere I can!
