Amen! Those are values that you are seeing less of in the younger generations.

Nuts came off without any effort. Bushings looked brand new and greased. Only problem I ran into was my jack isn't tall enough. Had to do some sketchy stuff, but wasn't a bad install. Feels weird riding with rake. Truck had the front spacer when I bought it. Rides even better than stock rear. Very happy. I'll get pics in the daylight tomorrow. Thanks @ToyTec Lifts! Loving the shackles already.

mmm... Home made cheesesteak sammich. Shaved rib eye, provolone, spicy sandwich spread. Not as good as the real thing in South Jersey / Eastern Pennsylvania, but the best I can do here in Wisconsin. Took about 3 minutes on my griddle insert.

Getting a little patina built up on the griddle:

Making it a utility rockcrawling rig. The key mods would be: flatbed, shortened frame, bobbed rear, snubbed front, exo cage, solid axles (1 tons), 46" tires, and a gear reduction box. It would be my first big project.

Rear steering would be cool, too, haha, but that would already be way over my head.

:goingcrazy: WD-40 the hell out of it and hit it with an impact wrench to get it off. Clean it very well, clean the nut, lubricate it, and press the tie rod into the spindle hard while you tighten? That's how I used to fix that on my Taco.

I hit it with an impact and she went right in. I'm taking my time because I know I'll break shit if I don't. One sides done...

I did my shackles in the rain yesterday. At least in SC it's warm rain, like taking a hot shower.
