Don't do that.....they should make it illegal do darken them like that.

lights look good. just hope you have some bright enough tail light bulbs/leds to shine through for your sake and the others behind you.

dark tint lights i don't believe are or should be illegal. but lights that can't shine through properly to allow others to see your brake lights are illegal.
blow your street legal train horns.....oh wait.

 

People generally put brighter lights when they tint taillights. No one wants to get rear ended because others can’t see their taillights. It’s actually more visible to other drivers.

I usually throw a tarp on the lanscape trailer, fill it with mulch, then wrap it up like a burrito for transit.

 

They are likely still illegal as the red reflector must be plainly visible in most states. Does look cool, does impair it’s safety function, like many of the mods that are popular.

 

I wish it was here too. I want all of my lights bright as hell.

 

Except the license plate lights

 

Lotsa people up here don't even have functioning brake lights, or drive around after dark with their daytime running lights only because the dash is lit.

If @TheBigFella7's lights work and he uses them at night...then its a win to me.

 

Funny that you mention that. They won't stop people here if a headlight is out or you are driving in the dark with absolutely no lights on, but they will get you if a tag light is out.

 

Can't have them colored here and they have to be well lit. Also, any lit up license plate holders are illegal.

 

I've had two tickets in my life, and one of them was for a burnt out license plate light. I was let off with warnings for other stuff, but not that.

I've been stopped for a license plate light but never a license plate cover. Fairly certain they only use that as a reason to stop you for other suspicions as the amount of people driving around with them is ridiculous.

 

Not today but on Saturday, washed and spray waxed. With a sick 1 yr old, I didn’t have much time. Also decided to take off the bed decals. They’re just gawdy in my opinion

I had put a set of dark taillight covers on my wife's car way back when. She got pulled over and told to remove them.
She was not happy with me to say the least.

 

I got black taillights but I added these figuring it was a wash.
