You know how many times I've looked for my pen or sharpie before realizing it was resting on my ear? Every time I just silently shake my head. I feel for my wife. She's gonna have it rough when I get old.

When I went to take Porkchop out for a drive and it was completely dead. New battery and it was completely dead the next day.

The amount of work that needs to be done is overwhelming.

I have no garage to work in or keep parts.

I'm not mechanically competent enough for a lot I need to do.

It's just too much. They've been sitting with no major work done in 3 years now.

It does, but it's a little rough. I need to swap a heater hose on it. It has ECU issues. It has cams and a bigger MAF, so it has a piggyback(OBD I). To read codes you have to take the piggyback off. Without it, the car dies during the low idle test.

Wait , you mean "I wear cans plus plugs" or "I wear cans instead of foam, because I like them better"? "Over" is an ambiguous term in this case, which can suggest preference.

I've always preferred cans, but I see value in applying both, especially with bigger stuff.

I figured this is something we'd have in common.

That's when it's the worst, at night, when everything is still and quiet, and those first 5-10mins in bed. I'm usually reading something in bed to distract myself and get my brain cranking on other things before closing my eyes.

Insight into how my brain works I guess.
I saw the word "Night" on the video, then saw it was driving, then "night driving", then "night driving, we're night driving" and ... goddammit Iggy.

have you called those places that pay top dollar for your junk car? I got offered $1k each for my pajero's. But i could probably make triple that parting em out. Bring em to my place, and sell parts. The motor bits alone should bring good money as cores.

How the hell does WallyWorld always manage to undercut everyone on motor oil pricing? Almost without fail, when I'm hunting for oil, they consistently come up at least 10% cheaper than the best prices out there, sometimes as much as 20% cheaper.

By buying and selling 1000% more of it. Largest retailer in the world.

edit: they also require most larger companies to have a local office or headquarters in Bentonville, AR in order to maintain their business relationship with Walmart. They are massive and they throw that weight around.

That's wild, but I also get it. My employer maintains a site in TX for similar reasons. A solid 10-15% of our domestic business exists because of two small sites we acquired in Dallas and Austin which house minimal staff.

    Also, good for AR.

The suggestion to protect hearing at younger age, was always leveraged with the threat of losing hearing ability. They don't tell you it will be replaced with the tone. I don't even remember pure silence, but I know that it was taken for granted
Also happens with sunglasses. I've caught someone looking for their phone at night, using their phone for a flashlight. (no not fleshlight sicko's)(the fact I felt the need to clarify that is comical, yet disturbing)

Metal recyclers here end up giving $5-700 for vehicles as scrap metal. That means you have to destroy them though. If your heart can take it.

Here’s the spherical bearing with the snap rings out.

I got rid of my '07 F150 to Peddle. They paid $650.
Something to be wary of, regardless of how you do it, is your release of liability. Peddle, along with all those junker companies, don't do their DMV shit. They auction off the vehicles and leave it up to the new owner to transfer the title. Until that happens, your name is tied to it. I got some registration stuff in the mail for the truck, long after Peddle took it away. Overdue notices and threatening to suspend my license. Went in to the DMV and they said it was never transferred out of my name, so I had to file release of liability, after paying the registration. $320. A year later, I received a parking ticket from LA county, that I had to contest and show proof, which was a rather involved process. Apparently, DMV had also dropped the ball and failed to remove my name after filing.
Good idea to have a printed out bill of sale/transfer of ownership form to get a signature when you hand over the pink. Cover yo ass
