Discussion in 'General Tundra Discussion' started by AT x AT, Oct 26, 2022.

?

To Overland or Not to Overland

  1. I would like to join an Overland Detachment.

  2. I would like to enjoy trail leader, lead day trip(s) and return back to base camp to sleep.

  3. I would like to explore the trails by me, myself and I.

shouldn't be an issue at all..as long as the 3rd brake light housing is OEM or close to OEM, you're in luck!

Cool. I guess it just looks like it extends out onto the roof quite a ways. But I haven’t looked that close at the TBL/Shark Fin area in a while.

Putting a roof-height rack on the truck is likely going to negate any plans of one of these anyway - you’d never see it.

    Right…
No need for a $550 third brake light when I can just mount chase lights and antennas on the rack

and, green. But sometimes blue. Unless it’s sunset, then orange.

Next vehicle may be orange. Or current one may get another paint job.

Wait till you see our green chase lights.

    Goodanbrite. Perfect location too.

I dunno if they have distributors in the PNE for you to go fingerbang the goods, but I know they ship from online. I’m a huge fan of their stuff and won’t entertain any other brand now. I got a soft bag from them that is baller.

Those newer Yeti soft carry’s with the magnetic opening are sweet for a behind the seat cooler.

    Well phuk

I see Sportsman’s shows them, but not in stock near me.
Maybe I’ll just have to go cooler-less for the trip down and then pick one up in AZ. Damn these things are spendy

Me too, I have the old zipper one that is less user friendly but really good. I keep “dry” stuff in the box cooler and drinks in that one.

I won my zipper yeti from a raffle at work. Not bad for being free. But a magnetic flap would make it the ultimate trail cooler

Welcome Solid Offroad our newest sponsor for #tundrastosedona! Solid has been making the beefiest motor mounts available for the Tundra and other Toyota and Lexus trucks, right here in Arizona. They even make a bad ass set for the #firstgentundra crowd who’s always complaining about no aftermarket support for their OG ride (you know I love you, I’m only jealous I don’t have one yet )

Many of us have seen first hand what can happen to the oem mounts when we push these trucks hard. Get your #t2sprep done and keep that motor in place stronger and longer with #solid_offroad #teamsolid_offroad
