I agree completely. I think the Cooper is one of those tires that overlooked. Maybe because the tread is less aggressive then the Toyo or Nitto not sure but they are so smooth and the lightest of any brands in that size and still E load rating

You’re right they are one of the lightest . Bridgestone duelers are 7 pounds less but they don’t look as good . If you ditch these wheels and go to Enkeis RpT 1 you can ditch some weight too . They come in at 23.3 lbs

Durtywrench ok I’ll check that too. Wheel and tire shopping now. The Cooper Discovers are still pretty aggressive looking just not as much as the Toyo or Nitto but that’s also why there quite thanks for the tip on the wheels

Ok I have a question? Apologize if this is a dumb one.
Looking at wheels and I see many are painted. Are all aluminum black or bronze wheels painted or do they make wheels in these colors that are powder coated or another way to give the aluminum it’s color.?

I ask because I’ve looked at many many wheels in parking lots as I’m out and about. There are a lot of faded black wheels out there. I’m in Texas and def don’t want my wheels color fading.
    Thanks for any help.
I just assumed when I saw a wheel like this it’s not painted.

I don’t have any 18’s. I’ll try to weigh them this week.

hahaha been lurking on here. Have nothing worthy to post yet but seen them talking about RPT1’s and did what our old friend would do and chime in

Installed my ready lift with my offset tires. Now I need running boards because it's harder to get in (gf complaining ) and more protection. I'm thinking either big mud flaps or fender flares? Undecided yet. Anyways. Enjoy!

Fuel Rims D744. 20x9 +1 offset. I feel like I should of stick with +18 offset because I had to remove the front mud flaps. They rub only at the worst angle when backing up.

FYI I’ve been looking at wheel and tires for the last 3 weeks it’s actually been nuts lol
    I’m running 295/70/18 Discover AT3 XLT
    On stock wheels.
But as we know I know want to run a 35x12.5 on an 18. I know similar to what I have already but when I see a Tundra with 35s you can tell right away.
Here’s the thing I was looking at getting rims and 35s prob jyst use Coopers again BUT today at the gym I saw a Jeep with Nitto Recons in 35/12/18 and wow is that a great looking tire. They don’t get the best rain reviews but those tires would make any jeep or Tundra look better imo.
Just had to let y’all know lol.
My new hobby fixing her up. I’m addicted and luv it lol. First time in my life having a lifted truck and a Tundra

If not then I’ll just throw it them on the GX and sell the SCS wheels currently on the GX and get other wheels. I have options lol

I wanted to show the Tundra people this
I think we’ve all questioned at one point what tire or wheel we want if any.
For me personally I own the white 2022
Tundra with 295/70/18 my buddies truck is the green one. Yes diff rims and offsets but simply looking at the tires to me is dramatically different.
    Yet his is 35/12.5
    Mine 34.3 diameter
    His 34.5 diameter
It just shows that just because tire size is similar it’s the kind of tire that can make the most dramatic change
Seeing them in person it’s even more dramatic! Hard to beat an aggressive looking tire if performance is still good.
    Mine Discover AT3 XLT
    His Nitto Ridge Grappler
