I have purchased a 2018 SR5 Double TSS with 83,000 with a power drivers seat. Yes, the former owners have imprinted their butt cheeks in the drivers seat. What is the best way to rebirth my butt in this expensive seat?

Order factory foam, take the cover off, install new foam, put cover back on.

I don't have the skills to attempt the removal and install of the original cover,.... I would have to find a good upholstery shop. Your talents may be better than mine.

If I was in this situation, I'd buy new foam for both seats and order some katskinz leather covers.

It's not super difficult. There's youtube videos showing install of leather seat covers. Process is the same. PITA but worth doing if the foam is deformed and you want to replace it for your butt's liking.

I replaced all of my seat covers in my truck with new OEM take offs. Is it fun? No. Is it difficult? Not really. Will you curse at the hog rings? Probably. First timing it plan on a couple hours give or take. Get a set of hog ring pliers, hog rings and a pair of snips that can cut off the old rings.

Like others said, buy new foam and oem bottom cover.

My dad owned an upholstery shop for 20 years. I work there on an off for almost ten years.
A good set of side cutters, hog ring pliers, some elbow grease will get you there.

start in the middle and work your way out. Pull and stretch the cover over the foam. Heat the covers in the sun first. We would use steam on vinyl seat covers to remove wrinkles. DO NOT steam leather.

It’s really just about taking the time to do it correctly. Especially if you already have a premade cover and factory foam. They only go on one way. If you hog ring a section and it doesn’t fit, simply cut the hog ring and try again.

It wasn’t uncommon to see an installer smacking the seat cover to stretch the cover into submission.

Looks like my butt won and the seat is comfortable now. Thanks for the offer! Looks like you've got a hot item there for other members.
