If the gate is locked, you don't want to be found on the other side of it in a motor vehicle.

Being desert dwellers I'm sure a lot of folks aren't wild about camping in the desert because it's not novel, but it may be the only place that isn't soggy in two weeks.

That being said, the 10 day forecast looks clear and its 71º up here today.

    Thanks PollyMath

we went up Saturday and connected with a resident who lives behind the gate. They allowed us in and accompanied us to the site for a first hand look. I posted in here a page or two back about it.

Our first priority is preservation of the land and will adapt to the situation if the USFS doesn’t open the road and campsite in time. We’re in constant contact with them about the status.

Which is so weird. But I agree, you are not inclusive. Yet, I feel invited. Hmm.

So rude (the rest). Now I was born in raised in California, but I don't really identify with metro CA. I do like the beach, though. I identify something along the lines of flag waving educated redneck. I grew up on the farms and lakes of Northern Ontario, Canada (summers and a few winters). Never lost that love of the outdoors and the space.

Tons. They've cleared a few out, moved in fewer new ones. Still no one directly around me except Carl.

Oh I knew that was comin. Just sharing what CaliRaised harness kit consists of. And yes, since it was already made up, I did use it as is, and stuck with their adhesive right where you see it. It's working, and as you said, no room for more switches.
