So I have a friend years ago who had a prerunner open diff taco. He insisted on following the 4x4's and got stuck over and over and over. So they kept pulling em out with a tow strap. That day he earned the nickname "Strap-on"

I missed the update. Did they offer to cover under warranty or no?

I gave up on looking for a reasonably priced one as a spare, I've been looking for eons, but everyone is looking for $100+ for just the wheel, or $150+ for wheel and tire.

Thus, new aftermarket wheels and tires coming as soon as the wheels I'm eyeballing come in stock.

Well that took way longer than it should and my torque wrench appears to have scampered off. The spare tire winch still works great after hosing it with Fluid Film 4 years ago.

Wheel took some beating with a sledge to loosen up.
Also need to be more diligent about checking my tire pressure and rotations

Is that a slice into the steel belt, or something wedged in the tire?

Sliced right in. Must have happened pretty close to the house because it let the last air out within 10 seconds in the driveway. Whole thing is like a 3/4” tear.

Yup 4 new tires should be here Wednesday. It hasn't gone much more than 5k/year in the last 3 so I kind of forget about it.

Warranty only good for original purchaser, and non-transferrable. Was unable to contact original purchaser for help. Well, I sent a PM here and got no response. I ended up buying a new case from an ARB distributer. Took an unexpected $289 hit on that one. Hopefully I get a tracking # today. Still a toss-up whether I'll get it in time to install it before the trip.

This is the one to get. You can halve the supplies and do two trucks/cars. Easy, no tape job needed.

It’s not going to last as long as your truck though.

I tried different headlight restoration kit before and they just got yellow again in a few months. Was thinking of getting new housings because the yellow is just disgusting. going to give this kit a go, thanks!

I guess the "guarantee to last as long as you own the vehicle" doesn't apply to these trucks, they are just to durable as long as you take care of them

Running them over inflated cause the wear pattern? Doesn’t look like what bad shock causes that I’ve seen.
