Ditch lights = pillar lights. These face the front.

Here's a link to the chase lights that face the rear:

Not all lumens are created equal - but also yes, the SSC1 Pros are probably overkill for chase lights haha. I originally had them as ditch (pillar) lights but moved them to the rear because they didn’t have enough throw from the pillars.

Why did y'all call em pillar lights when they attach to the hood hinges, not the pillars?

Why do you call them ditch lights? They mount on the hood near the A pillar

Because they're close enough to the pillar.

Ditch light isn't accurate for everyone if the lights are pointed where they don't point directly in the ditch.

Because we point em out at angle to see a wider view of the road/path/trail and that usually puts em outputting toward the ditches.

Dust/chase lights are nice, but you don’t need them for T2S. If you run into the truck in front of you that’s your fault, if you choose to drive blind in dust same thing. I run Feniex Fusion Amber spot, stealth mounted under the tailgate, and are very close to the color @Sunnier prefers with the CaliRaised. Poor location, but enough that nobody complains. Have 3 of the CaliRaised Amber spot pattern pods in my “need a new home light collection” can bring to T2S. Whatever connector came on them has been cut off for crimp terminals on all 3, $5 each.

Under the tailgate is about the only place I could mount anything until I trade my softopper for a hard top. Or maybe mount to my spare tire swing out

I really don't want to get rear ended, regardless of fault. My chase light is for me. I promise not to rear end anyone with whatever you have back there.

This is a great offer, Dave!
I just remembered, I decided these were the most visible color while following you that first trip.

1st gen homies, let me know if you want me to bring a bunch of wire, connectors, and tools. If not, that's fine too. A great deal though, worth every bit of $5, you @DJenerates.

I mean if y'all insist on us having a chase light then yeah sure. Realistically I probably won't have time otherwise.
Did I mention I hate wiring? Maybe I can convince our resident electrician @bmf4069 to help me

I need to wire the bonnet blasters, my autodim/compass mirror and now a chase light lol
