Thanks, I'll cut it off, I'm going to run the harness as far as I can while waiting for Amazon to deliver the 10ga, there was none under 150 foot rolls locally, the car places had none & Home Depot & Lowes only had multiconductor AC wire WTF???

That sucks, I figured autozone would have it, don't forget to check electronics shops, a lot of them sell by the foot. I end up using Amazon for most things as well, just too convenient.

I spent 20 minutes searching locally, Autozone, Napa, Oreilly all had none, then I looked at the home places, nothing but AC wire. I was shocked.

Forgot about them, but after looking at the deal, I decided to run the relay right to the pump, it will reduce the run & I don't have to find a switched fuse. (relay power from the pump power wire)

    FUCK WALBRO!
Put it together, not fully sewn up because I have bene burned before. NADA, not even thinking about thinking about running. Thought maybe I swapped the lines, tried to swap them NO! the hardlines are different sizes (learned after wrestling them the fuck off)

Thought maybe I had the hoses in the basket swapped, NO! Gave it electricity, the Walbro isn't pushing shit, nada NOTHING.

Wired up the Deatchwerks, tried to start, tried to start, STARTED! RUNS & over 100 fucking PSI (Aerootive maxed out to get to 58ish with the Shitbro.

    DIE Walbro, DIE!

Also, thanks for the Tacoma instructions, they made me feel smart because I bought that transmission jack they are using all on my own.

This was when I was verifying blue is power & soldering the relay to it.

So the 450 didn't work after putting it back together? Sorry you went through all that work, but that's really strange that it was at least providing some pressure prior and none now.

No movement at the gauge, no indication gas was getting to the engine.

Now it is retaining pressure & starting right up (so far)

Modding has it ups & downs, I feel like I have paid the full freight now & it's smooth sailing from here. I still have to button the tank up, secure the wiring & adjust the FPR.

It's sitting on the jack now. This part is easy, I am taking a break.

I had an aeromotive with the same issue when I first did the blower. Very annoying to receive a new pump and it not work.

Glad you got it figured out! Had a feeling it might be a bad pump if not leaking hoses. I’m sure you’re planning to, but now don’t forget to set the pressure back down to 50-60psi before going to play lol. The pump won’t flow enough fuel at WOT if trying to maintain 100psi, plus it will draw higher amps.

I'll probably have mine down tomorrow, but curious how big was the wire?

    Thanks!

Haven't sewn it up, but dialed the FPR to 60.

These came, they will be sitting for a bit unless I have issues.

The blue wire that powers the pump? I'm awful at guessing gauges but here is a picture. (beauty of junk yard parts, easier for them to cut harnesses.

Yes, those, thank you. Sending unit wiring looks like maybe 22-20ga, power looks like it might be 14ga, just guessing really hard to tell. How big compared to the 10ga?

I'm out sitting in a drive through taking an HP tune read. I'll take a picture of the two together when I'm home.

Also and I mean this thank you all. Without the help you guys gave me I'd be pulling my hair out with a truck that doesn't run.

    Long Cranking Times

I tried some things today that didn't seem to work. o_O

-Lowered the Injector Constant. I can't say that it improved a hot start verses the scaled suggested value, 0.070175 for my 750s. I tried 0.060882 based on info that SlowNStock had posted for calculating the value from scratch. He suggests scaling anyway. I didn't let it run for too long. It seemed to want to die as LTFTs skewed positive.

-Noticed that 2008-2011 tunes appeared to have Startup Airflow ECTs like this:

    ECT08.jpg

and 2012+ tunes are like this:

    ECT12.jpg

I tried them both with no discernable difference.

-I tried to really dial in my LTFTs, particularly at idle in Drive after this caught my attention on the HPTuner forum:

    HPTquote.jpg

It seemed to make a little difference on hot starts (5min), but today is warmer than it's been, and it didn't make any difference on a warm start after lunch (90min).

-FFV tunes appear to have an Engine > Fuel > General > Cranking Fuel > Cranking PW value of 6.819ms. This doesn't appear to exist for non-FFVs. Buuut, with my smokey rich starts after extended cranking, this made me go back to my logs to see what my Injector Pulse Width values were during these events. On the first and smokiest start of the day, it was 64ms. During the hot starts the duration is 9-16ms. The same for the one warm start that was logged.

So, not having any idea what's "normal", I was wondering if anyone would be interested taking a look at any logs that they may have of both "normal" and "long cranking" starting events to see what Injector Pulse Width times they are seeing for comparison. If this happens to be "a thing", I don't know what could be done though as it's not a factor that can be adjusted as far as I can tell, but someone smarter me may be aware of another way to affect a change.

I'm probably grasping at straws, but questions must be asked to learn.

It was great for about 20 minutes, I got gas & when I left it bogged & the pressure was 20lbs. I limped home & upped the FPR, no more lbs.

    I'm beyond frustrated.

Thanks for the picture, sucks to hear about the situation...I wonder if running at 100psi caused issues with the rubber hose?

Have you tried raising the airflow adder value at the higher temps (50-185)?

I never drove at that level, before I finished buttoning the tank up I lowered it to 60. When I pulled in the gas station it was running fine. I'm stumped.

Damn! Can’t win, sorry about the struggles. FPR crapped out from being buried maybe? I thought the aeromotive only went to 70ish and yours was reading 105 somehow. Could try throwing the stock FFV FPR on, that should be at 60psi as well.
