Do you remember which size torx bit it was?
I was just trying to remove my rear seats and only had a T40 and T55 in the box. I couldn't find my set because I switched vehicles and the mother#&@kin garage is a c@$&suckin disaster and I was just about to burn it down and thought, maybe I'll just ask on here and go buy an individual bit.

Note: I do the same thing with 10mm sockets. I probably have 10 or 15 of them lol

T40? I have a T40 and it was too small. It's a 2021, but I can't see Toyota changing something like that. But who knows.
I HAAAte when I can't find tools. Mostly because I know it's probably my own stupid fault.

The side bolt facing the rear pillar was a T40.

Those guys. They look the same.
My T40 bit just flopped around in it.

Duh,....I'm sure the hardware store will let me run out to the truck with a bit and see if it fits.
I'm still pissed that I have to buy a bit for 2 bolts. I have a whole torx socket set.
    Somewhere.

    Thank you.
You are a gentleman and a scholar.

Well still might be the best thing - the bits won't melt so sift through the ashes and you'd find them.

I had zero issues. I used needle nose pliers, regular pliers, and a pocket knife. Took me the afternoon and I did them in the house as it was hot af outside.

I decided to dig through everything again and found the bit set,.....in the bottom of a box that I never put them in.
Anyway, I left the single seat in and swapped base brackets. There was a T40 bolt on the side of the bigger seat. So, you weren't wrong.
    Thanks again.
