1794 TRD Off Road

Hi Guys! It's been a while since I have been on this forum. I sold my 2nd Gen Tundra back in 2018. I then went to a Ford Raptor and I had it for 2 years, after that I went to a Ford F350 Super Duty and just recently I returned to the Toyota Fam.

I love this new truck! I flew to Casper, WY to pick it up in December. Since then I have removed the chrome, put the Westcott Kit on it, and recently changed it to a Icon Stage 10 Kit, put 37's, Method Wheels with Retro Toyota Color center caps, installed BedRug, Installed Swing Arm Boxes, Heritage Grill, Baja Designs Lights, Retrax Bed Cover. I have a couple of more sets of lights to install and then my TRD Pro Fender Flares and I think I am finished.

Looks great. De-chrome a 1794…that sounds like a lot of work.

 

This looks really nice. I'm curious what you did to the long door 1794 badge. Mine's still running the chrome badge and it's just WAAAAAYYYYY too much . But I haven't wanted to totally remove it yet. Did you wrap or spray it or ??

 

I want to say he wrapped it. You have a few choices 1) remove 2) wrap 3) paint 4) swap it for factory platinum badge and replace platinum badge with 1794- that’s what I did

Ah that option 4 hadn't occurred to me - I hadn't seen a Limited up close and didn't realize they have a similar door strip. I gotta go check into that..
