    Hey everyone.

Ive had my 3rd Gen Tundra (22) Limited TRD since August of last year and have loved this thing.

That being said, a few months ago I started noticing an odd rattling or clicking sound on the front passenger side. As if someone was clicking a keyboard on rapid-fire (sorry its the best analogy I could come up with.

Its not always noticeable. In fact, if the road itself is smooth, I never hear it. However, every time I drive at speeds of over 30 mph on deteriorated paved roads - I get the clicking.

I put a link to a video I had my kid take while driving one day at the bottom.

I took it to my Toyota dealer and they said they couldn't reproduce the sound. I showed them the video. However, the tech wanted to witness it for himself. I drove him around for about 10 min and was able to hear it a bit. However, the roads around the dealership are mostly paved well - thus, I cant reproduce the sound (consistently).

Looking for others here to weigh in. Has anyone heard this before? Any ideas what it might be?

This is likely your issue, little piece of annoying plastic. See the link.

I have this same noise! But the dealership wants to charge me for looking at it... Is that how it's supposed to be?

No that is absurd, talk to the service manager. If that don't help ask to speak to the general manager. Best of Luck!

My truck has the exact same noise since 5k miles(@18k now), but on the drivers side. The dealership thought it was the window run, replaced it, which didn’t change anything.

After doing my own diagnosis, Im pretty damn certain it’s the door moving/vibrating and rubbing against the body of the truck. I can jam my hand/fingers while driving between the door & body, which makes the noise go away.

I’ve seen photos/videos of people applying aftermarket weather stripping to temporarily fix the issues. As Toyota doesn’t have a fix yet.

Here’s a link of noise sound from my Truck — https://youtube.com/shorts/c504btXRyIs?feature=share

Here was a temporary fix someone posted in the wind noise thread.
