AL_TUNDY's sale post was in 2021 at which point he said it had 4k miles (~10 times locked). Based on his main thread, his mileage per year and mine seem similar... long freeway runs to play in the dirt. So, to me, 4k miles should be no more than a year. Which means install in or around 2000. Enough time built in there that it might be worth a PM to see if he'll answer up and share the dated install work order with you (maybe use that to overcome hurdles with ARB)-?

I thought i was dying last night. Around 2am i woke up in agony, no blood, full range of motion, but my left side below my ribs was screaming. Didnt know what the hell, couldnt find a position that would stop the pain. Kinda slipped and caught myself while hopping out of the bed of the truck yesterday, but it didnt feel like a pulled muscle, i didnt know if i'd slipped a disc... laid in the tub in warm water for a bit, got a frozen bag of mixed veggies, wrapped it in a shirt...not enough difference to make a difference. Was kinda panicking, cause i didnt know what i was going to do with my dog if i went to the ER... in a last ditch effort (make it bad enough i wouldnt have a choice) did a couple dozen jumping jacks, and let out an award winning fart. That helped enough to sleep, and alls well today. So i guess dont mix cheesy flaked mashed potates and mixed greens and a dr.pepper. Rocked my world for about 3 hours.

If only that was the transmission skid, I could use a replacement for my current one

Damn, I was gonna call 'kidney stone on this' (as a chronic stone sufferer since the ripe old age of 13). Blood doesn't always show up visibly with them, was only a 1-in-4 situation for me, but even when not visible, tests at hospital would pic it up. Left side though, that's colon, gas buildup / consptipation would jibe with that.

I'd wait to hear back from @AL_TUNDY and see if you can backtrace the date. And even if you can't, send pics and info over to them, with serial, and see what they say. "I'm out a lot of money here... over a known defect"

google wasnt much help, gas buildup was a hidden footnote when they wanted me to be convinced it was appendicitis or diurticulitis or a heart attack... i've usually got an iron constitution, which is why it caught me off guard. And tums and pepto are the only stomache meds i have...but i've got a container of every shape of bandaid they sell... and still prefer the papertowel/electrical tape fix.

General rule of thumb: Right side = appendicitis, left side = gas/constipation. Appendix will always hit you on the right side.

For me, kidney stones are often towards the side or central/back on whichever side is having issues, pain is hot and stabbing, like someone chucked a fork in a drill, stuck it below the rib cage, and pulled the trigger. But I've heard some say pain feels like it's radiating from below the front of the rib cage. Really, urine sample testing for blood is the best way to check.

90% of the stones I've suffered hit between the hours of 2am-7am. Supposedly this is when your body is most relaxed, and things tend to flow out to the bladder. YMMV. Beer fixed my stones problem.

They log every purchase. That way they're also able to cross-reference for buyers sakes. Like, I could give them the serial # and they'd know that its a RD129 locker. From what @Sunnier says, it sounds like it may be under the 5 year marker. We'll see. I might be shootin myself in the foot by contacting them and giving my info, if Big Al later tries to help me take care of it as the 'original purchaser'. Ya dig?

    It's concave from heavy use.
My front skid is a little bashed in, but my transmission skid will need to be replaced eventually. I'll probably try to reinforce the new skid when I do replace this one.
