Funny how the HALF safe guys fell back. Full size gives the same options plus more space.

I'm extremely happy with my half-safe. I've had a full safe on one of my other Tundras and I ended up cluttering it up. The half is perfect for me but I can also see the benefits of having a full safe.

Depends on what's in it for sure. With firearms, you definitely don't want something that is easy to get into.

I prefer my half safe. It would annoy the heck out of me to have to open two doors every time I just want to throw something in the center console.

    Good morning all,

For those of you that have the half safe, did you put any type of foam padding inside to keep things from banging around? If so, what did you use and where did you find it? Thanks!

I've had the Toyota half-safe for years now. Didn't use any foam padding & it doesn't make a peep. It bolts to the bottom of the console - there's no play in it at all.

Well, depending on what you are throwing into the console, the storage tray fits on top of the full size safe, so you don't actually have to open two doors.
