Ok you got me there, I mentally checked out and was thinking only about the 3rd gens again :anonymous:

I forget, was 96 was the 3.4 for the T100 and not the 3.0 right? I know that’s right around the time they transitioned.

Yeah, if I recall correctly it was the 3.4. It was also another very reliable truck for me, although one of my shortest ownership durations with a Toyota truck. I only had it for 4 years before moving up to a 2000 Tundra, which I mostly did for the rear 1/2 doors so it was easier to get my son into his car seat. That Tundra ended up as my longest ownership at 20 years and my son went from riding in a car seat in the back to that being his first vehicle when he turned 16.

I had a sweet 97 T100 5vz 5spd for about 6 months before I realized how much of a money pit it was going to be. Sold it after rockauto planned to discontinue support for T100 and bought a second 1GT. I lost about $1000 in new parts on the T100, but I scored the second tundra for pennies on the dollar. I'd have kept both if I had the room.

Yeah buddy. I went from a 19" wheel to a 16" with a bigger tire. People would have a blast on this thing at Sedona if I brought it and it's tempting. I just don't know a safe way to secure it from being stolen when we stop to nap. I would have to stash it inside our Air BNB in Flagstaff.

Was the tire size difference enough for the torque you were looking for? Replace chain & both sprockets in sets.

I think that’s why I’m drawn to the kilt lifter. Although it’s a Scottish ale I can definitely sense some similarities between the two.. but maybe that’s just me

No we are. Just not until Wednesday. Sun-Tuesday we're going to check out Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon since we've never seen it.

Didn't your motorcycle get stolen from your house? :D

It’s their only good beer. The light is atrocious and the Hershey Porter is ok.

LB? The battery life is pretty good. I did 22 miles one day last month and still had around 35% left.

Well played. But you’ll be bringing 28 of them home, or if you’re smart, you’ll just pour them out or find some random teenagers that don’t care. They’ll pour them out after you leave. I’ve never been more disappointed in a beer. It was like the Diet Coke of beers. :puke:
