So I was topping off my engine coolant and turned it on to see if it would suck any out i was bubbling inside but didn’t lose any. So I revved my engine a little and could hear a loud high pitch noise at around 2k rpm’s any idea what it is? In the video it’s at around 11 seconds mark.

Can anyone identify? The truck seems to idle fine rpm wise but I do feel it shake. And steering wheel has buzzing feeling when I give it gas at any speed. Not a shake just a buzzzzzz like feeling

Thinking it might be a vacuum leak sound and that may be why I feel the truck shake when idling maybe? I tried shaking some hoses to see if anything changed but didn’t

Hmmmm. The need to top off your engine coolant and a whining noise. Maybe water pump?

Perhaps the last time the water pump was changed showed at 72k miles it has 209k now I bought it with the coolant below low and just now added it I’ll will see if it keeps losing some. It would be coming out of weep hole if the pump is bad correct? I wanted to check in the normal if I saw any leaks but of course I spilled some smh

The weep hole would be the place. An automotive stethoscope can also help
Pinpoint noises in the engine bay, but being near the rotating assembly up front can be dangerous. May not be able to safely use it for this.
