I'm lost. You rented a lift at a shop to work on the vehicle yourself?

I don’t think it would be considered a shop without a lift and maybe a compressor. Probably access to tools so you don’t have to bring them. :notsure:

    Otherwise it’s just a garage.

Shop has a lift but I don’t need it. Has tools but I don’t expect to need any.

countertops are going in right now. Contractor is over. He’s been using my miter saw for a month or so. Compressor and my toolbox and workbench all smashed in a corner. Big boxes of cabinets were in the rest of the garage and are finally mostly clear. But now we have a ton of flooring and all the appliances. It’s a f’ing mess. And a small garage even though 3 wide.

So, yeah, I’m paying for what I hope is warm space to work. We shall see. Might be nice if I can maybe align my headlights there. Gonna try to do mirrors, fender flares, fogs, and winch. Maybe mud guards and rear floods but won’t hook those up. Try to get organized. Think I forgot the new headlight though and that was important. F.

Man, headlights. That's my pinch right now. I have nowhere at home, nor close to home, that has flat ground 18-22ft from a vertical, flat, blank wall.

Don't you have shopping malls nearby? The concrete parking structures are perfect near or after closing time. Or any commercial parking lot open to public or employees.

    Not much flat around here.

I’ve forgotten the procedure on removing these. But I think I also left the replacements at home.

I go to a parking garage to adjust mine. Works well enough.

Yeah, that’s how I did mine on the Tacoma. Need to find a local parking structure with space that’s flat. Can’t even think of one yet. Gotta explore.

Moving this over here: @Jack McCarthy

He didn't target my clinching specifically, but I needed to take a little break from my monthly visits. During my 6 month break, my dentist noticed some tooth wear and I began to develop some sensitivity. I began to become aware I was clinching subconsciously. I decided to try and catch myself doing it and stop to avoid a costly day guard. This was effective at stopping only after I was doing it....probably 3-5 times a day.

Then I began going back to my chiro for normal maint adjustments as I was before. After my 2nd time back, I realized I hadn't caught myself clinching anymore. I just attribute it to my back and shoulders being more relaxed, and the perfect timing. I don't believe it was coincidence.

Here’s a look at the unfinished rack. Looks like I missed a couple spots with the spray but I’ll have a chance to go back over it.

Dynamic load strength should be great with all that support. Mission accomplished.

2x payload would probably overload it. Think you’re good. I tend to overbuild things for their use. My back deck at my last house is a good example. Could park our cars on it. For off-road use, extra strength is a good thing. Looks great too. Tactical!

Good thing you went full tactical! If you'd skipped the equal numbered supports with matching holes, it would not have been tacticool.

Lol. It was between .063 wall and .120 on the tubing. I went for the latter. 3lbs a foot vs. 1.5 or so. I’ll have to measure the unused material to figure out how much weight I added but I think it’s about 100 pounds.
