Just got my Saddleman seat covers for 2017 SR% double cab. Rear seat cover are a bit of a mystery to me. Seats went on ok, but having a hard time figuring out the backs. They have about 4" that is supposed to slide over the back of the seat - I cannot figure how to get it down over the seat (no room at all). Any tips/suggestions?

What do people think about Saddleman covers? (guess I should asked before buying??) They had a decent sale so I pulled the trigger (after getting a new puppy).

    Tastefully enhanced...
Throw us some pictures and we can help a bit better...do the Saddleman covers 'match" the OEM covers-ish?

Are the covers for 2007-2013, or 2014 to 2021? The earlier Gen 2 seats folded down I believe. The later 2014+ the seat bottom raises up.

Ordered by year, make and model so should (SHOULD) be for '14-'21 Tundra.

not sure what the OEM covers are like, but the bottoms fit fine, backs just don't seem quite right?

I got the back seat covers on - had to fold bottom up which gave a little (very little) room to slide cover over (still really hard to get them over the car seat restraint buckle and don't look completely on). There are also elastic bands that go behind the seat and hook together - now how to do that??? Had to McGyver something - tied a string to hook, fed it thru to below seat and then pulled across to hook on other side - real PITA (especially for longer side). So back seat is done. Now front seats - simpler but still not easy and didn't get them done. So this little project that should take an hour is going to take over 3 evenings to finish!! My biggest bitch is why can they not have detailed instructions (printed, online, etc.)? What I got didn't even pertain to my covers or vehicle. I still have no idea where to attach elastic under the front seats and how the hell the cover is supposed to go on the fold down console. I might sound like I am some dipshit that cannot figure things out, but consider myself fairly intelligent and pretty handy. These seat covers are just plain difficult, partly by design and mostly because of poor instructions.

Take the back seats out, then it will be much easier.

Ummmm, yeah, that sounds A LOT easier?!?! And let's say that was the case, they should say that where you buy it (in the description) or in good instructions).

They should. Worth an email to them. There video instructions are way oversimplified and the covers seem very unsecure.
