Brake pad has left the chat. Replacing it with EBC Orange stuff and slotted rotors to match the front. Luckily I have a spare caliper lying around.

I need to do something about my front brakes. But I don't know if upgrading the rotors is enough in my case or should I do the gx460 brake mod or powerstop big brake upgrade. I need to do my research.

Wait... do you have a rear disc conversion?

I'm trying to decide if my 2.5 hour layover is enough time to do the Atlanta Skyclub crawl.

I've been to many of them, there's not enough difference between them all for me to make that effort.

If you have 17" wheels, do the 14WA conversion or get the pricey Powerbrake kit (NOT Powerstop). Powerstop stuff isn't really an upgrade. If you have 16" wheels, there is a pricey Stoptech big brake kit that may fit otherwise you're limited to 13WL calipers.

    And yes I do.

Yeah 17's are still in the plans for when my current tires need to be replaced and I can finally shed these lowly 16's and 33's for some 35's. Then bigger brakes for sure.

my powerstop z23 were a definate upgrade over what i'd assume to be dealership brakepads.

Curious but lazy (rough day): How'd you handle prop valve to balance out front/rear ratio after the upgrade? Was it possible to tweak the LSPV, or did you just borrow the prop valve off the donor Sequoia?

Had a chance to look at the virus in the light today. The hood latch still works! Crazy!

The rad fan is broken. Touching the intake. The radiator is bent. The AC condenser is bent. Neither appear to be leaking...
The high beam bulb needs to be replaced. The radiator support is bent.

It all looks like an easy fix with a come-a-long some webbing, some zip ties, some zip-screws, some time, some tinkering, and some body panels.

I deleted the LSPV and put a manual prop valve at the master cylinder. I followed the instructions and adjusted to where the rear brakes would lock up and then backed off from there. I've tweaked it a few times, but overall the pedal feel is great.

Maybe I should've gotten the Z23 brake pads :cookiemonster:

So far they've turned out to be my favorite pad I've tried especially with how I use the truck now. They offer less aggressive ones, assume they're cheaper

Tried out some flux core!!! Better than I expected, and it actually sounded way better than before(switched out an old stinger) but I think I’ll enjoy using it for the outside projects we do!FC554DDB-2791-4FC3-B335-4A14D2B1D1C5.jpg 978120E9-5BFC-4B22-A4D5-27E134492A84.jpg

Nice. I personally hate flux core, but it is the perfect thing for use outdoors in the wind.
