Hi all. New to this, so here it goes.
I put aftermarket Wheels with Michelin Tires (18")on my 2019 Tundra and even though it says that they are hubcentric and completely balanced, I get a shake at the oddest time. I believe that the the Wheels have to be centered on the wheel studs, as the OEM's are Shank style Nuts, and all aftermarket wheels are set up for cone shape nuts.
The ride can be perfectly smooth, but when you hit a bump, I get a shimmy until the next bump or a sharp corner.
If this sound familiar, has anybody found a solution?

Below are search results of old threads with "Balancing" in the thread title.

maybe you have a loose wheel? Id lift each tire and check all my lugs for correct torque

Do you have any suspension mods? Almost sounds like death wobble but that’s a Jeep thing

Thank you for replying. I have NO Lifts, Truck is mostly stock, other than Performance upgrades.
I am trying to get the slight shimmy out of the Mayhem aftermarket wheels, which only occurs sometimes. Even though the Wheels are Hub Centric, when the wheel is off, you can see that the center has different rub marks. All this leads me to believe that the cone shape Lugs do not support the wheel properly
compared to the Toyota OEM Lugs. I have gone a straight stretch of road without any issues, turned around and on the way back I got the wabble in the steering wheel. I believe that at that time the steer wheels were no longer in sync, hence the idea about the wheel nuts. I use the OEM Wheels for my winter Tires and have no issues at all. Maybe someone has found wheel nuts that are adaptable? By the way, just installed the Pedal Commander. Lots of fun to play with. Sport+ mode is Crazy.
