**SOLD** Toytec BOSS Rear Shocks (BNIB)

These have been sitting in the box in my garage for about a month, so I think it's time to move them. Have only been removed from the box to take this picture. Never installed. These are for 1-3" of Lift. $190 shipped in the lower 48.

 

Yep. I believe I paid $240 shipped from Toytec when I purchased them.

 

Will this fit 2016 lc200?

 

Their website doesn't show the BOSS shocks when I select LC200, so I am guessing no, but I could call them tomorrow and double check. I'm not familiar with the Land Cruisers suspension.

 

It will not, different rear suspension on the rear of the LC and Sequoia. I tried to sell some Tundra rears thinking they would fit the whole fam and was quickly corrected. =\

I know that people put trd pro tundra suspension on lc200. The rear needs some type of grinding or something like that.

Sequoia is independent suspension on all 4 wheels. Rear has cv axles. Crazy!

 

Can the reservoirs be added to these or no?

 

probably not.

if they could, you'd need to send them back to toytec, have them work on them. Seems like too much trouble for both parties.

You'd most likely be better off getting these or just ponying up for some resi's .

 

Yes I have been looking at the complete 3" lift kit. Thought i could possibly save a little by getting these but not gonna work. Thanks.

 

if you're wanting to save a little, why not just go BOSS 2.0 and get these shocks instead of Radflo's and resi's?

Both are very capable shocks.

You can still get the complete kit, you just get these instead of the reservoir rears. As @Law323 said, both are very capable. This way you still get everything you need for a 3" lift and save a few bones.

I have the reservoirs and they are great, but I honestly don't feel like my occasional offroad use justifies the cost. That being said, it's your money and you should spend it how you deem fit.

This is a great deal on some great shocks, GLWS!

 

@Backslider this is good info and i appreciate it. I am not a big off roader, just occasionally. You may have convinced me. Anyone know if there is much difference between the toytec boss adjustable fronts vs the toytec radflow adjustable fronts? Much difference?

 

which one though? Both the BOSS 2.0 and 2.5 are considered "complete" 3/1 lifts.
Only difference is the Radflos are usually coupled with the resi's and the Boss 2.0 is coupled with the shocks that are shown on this page.

I saved some money by going BOSS 2.0 and getting the resi's and couldn't be happier with my choice.

I think the shaft diameter is the major difference. I have the 2.5 kit and it's fantastic. You should talk to @ToyTec Lifts about the technical details and what best suits your needs. If you do go with the standard BOSS rears this thread would be a great way to save some cash.

 

only difference I can think of is the Radflos are more geared towards offroading where BOSS is perfectly capable, the Radflos are a little better from what I'm hearing.
