I'm guessing the injector duty cycle was not a cause?
What RPM did it cut at?
Do you have a fuel pressure gauge in your regulator?
If so, did anyone monitor it during the pull?

Oem FPR, no gauge, he said I need to figure out a way to get fuel pressure. He said there is a ton of injector % left, that the issue is although he commanded it to get a shit ton of gas, it was cutting at wot. Snevilous said that from logs I sent him.

He is a 30-year pro, I am sure if he could have he would have done it, he charged me 300 less than if he had done the full tune.

Not really a rpm cut, it just randomly starts losing fuel. This is a datalog from yesterday and very clear, you can see the truck commands it to richen (orange) and for a few second it does (red) and then there's blips where it loses fuel and even goes lean.

    upload_2023-3-27_15-27-54.jpg

Injectors according to the datalog are fine, the truck runs fine otherwise, the injectors constants double checking them appear fine. COTS is turned off so the only thing that should be controlling fueling is PE, and going back to the graphs, the injectors and fuel system are fine for a moment and then something happens and they hiccup and then grab fuel again and hiccup. Other datalogs are even worse where it'll maintain fuel for two seconds and then just completely run away and lean out insanely bad.

New Walbro 450. My theory is either the fuel pump connections got loose or screwed up and bleeding pressure off inside the tank, or there's some weird flex fuel thing going on where the pump is seeing reduced performance. All the flex fuel parameters in the tune are matched to the normal operation values, and OP said the dyno guy looked at ethanol content and it was only at 6%.

Any suggestions for e30, assuming the issue is not on the tuning side :D

TBH, that sounds suspiciously close to what was happening with me when the fuel line blew inside the tank. Truck still had pressure, but not enough. I did get a lot of errors on the dash, but I believe the 2021 is gonna have a different dash layout than the 2010, so we wouldn't see the same dash lights. You were reporting some, though right? Were any of the codes lean outs? @e30cabrio

I also had that vacuum leak causing the readings to jump back and forth

The only code I have gotten lately was fuel sender signal P0462, the truck is a 2013, but I have a 18+ cluster.

Due to M3's issues I used the plastic "hose" that came with the walbro & the similar one that was in the oem basket, I used fuel line clamps, the kind with a screw that goes through both sides of the clamp & constricts. On the main "nipple" which was very big and a major pita to get the hose on, I sinched it enough so it would not move, the hose was not moving without it. On the smaller return the hose was loose without the clamp, I sinched it until there was no movement, I also have the Radium Venturi, also using the plastic hose & fuel line clamps.

Didn’t realize you have an FFV. Did you remove the VSV relay to keep the pump in high flow mode?

    thanks

also I have a non flex basket and the valve is bypassed (if that matters)

Apparently I have a cognitive disability. The tuner read the thread (these posts) and said this:

you've got some stuff backwards. there's no cut, it's me letting off the throttle because it's so lean, i don't want to hurt the engine.
there's almost nothing left of the injectors, they're at 80% duty cycle at only 4900 rpm.
everything is working like it's supposed to, we just don't have any delivered fuel. that's why it's so important to start with pressure.

I'd definitely start working back to the pump to double check. May try going boost referenced if you're not already. Disconnect fpr from intake, and reroute it to the boost port, and cap the intake side

    He just sent me this:

here's datalog from last pull. you can see injector duty cycle is 85% at just 5100 (750cc @ 58psi injectors!). maf is at 4.5v, commanded fuel is .7 lambda (very rich), but can see actual lambda is .95 (very lean), which is what the dyno wideband was also showing. there is no g/s limiter that i see and there's nothing that looks like it's not doing what it should. just have no fuel. that's nearly always a pressure problem.

Sure, but for some reason, it appears to think it does. Honestly, I don't even know if that relevant.

I was looking at one of my early logs with the 750s just to compare my INJ DC vs. Air g/s at similar revs. I know we're at different elevations, but mine shows over 430g/s at 6100rpms and "only" a 64% INJ DC. If memory serves the wideband back then was indicating in the low 10s. If I had your numbers, I would think mine would be running super fat, +80% INJ DC with 750s, sounds like a lot.
