Finally getting around to ordering a new bellow. The replacement shows a zip tie included. Is this the normal way to secure the wide end after replacing?

Got the homies together to work on the truck. Had to flex it out right away. These springs are 100% worth the cost ride incredible. Awesome day drinking brewskies and doing truck shit

My rack ends are zip tied. I can pull them off and push them on. But they don’t come off when I’m driving. At one time I used the fancy steel coil bend back on itself thingies. I prefer the zip ties.

Working on the truck is fun, but with some friends so much better

Went with Archive Garage MD springs, even with the shell and platform in the back they provided a solid lift. These things are beefy.

I have the Archive Garage mediums and absolutely love them. I think you are stoked. I was talking to Eric yesterday and in a few months he may come out with a helper/AAL style spring for the mediums. I’m not suggesting that for you but I’m going to jump on them. Funny timing, I just opened the box of the not really available +20% AG bump stops. I can’t wait to run them. Congrats on the springs!

Thanks! Beyond stoked, it needed it so bad. That’s awesome can’t wait to see them on your truck. In the future want to get bumper/sliders/tire swing out so it’s nice to know that could be a possible option but for now these are perfect. Surfboards don’t really weight that much lol

Hopefully that rubber doesn't dry out and crack in short order :D

To this point ^^ for smaller bellows like this, hell even my 5100 rears have 'em, it's not uncommon to see zip ties used to hold them on. There's a tool to tighten them down firmly, but I normally just use lineman's pliers to do the job.

Replaced my ignition coils today with Denso replacements. I also removed my tie rod bellow clamp, spun it around, and secured it with a zip tie. Hoping this should stop the minor leak from the small hole. Nice idea @FrenchToasty. If that doesn't work I'll replace it. I don't want to risk throwing off the toe if I can avoid it.

Went for a drive after that and found my backup camera isn't working. Hoping it's a fluke.

Buddy gave me back the best gen, they finally got the transmission in their 2020 expedition replaced. Old man is swapping his prius for it, so decided to finally grease her. I found and greased 6 zerks, hopefully that's all of them. Looks like a previous owner installed some 90 degree ones on it, as I didn't need any of the special fittings I bought for the gun. Got use my new grease gun for the first time! Also, what does the brain trust think about these cracks in my center support bearing? Checked and it didn't have any unusual play:

Projecting good vibes your way, hoping you don't fall victim to "no good deed goes unpunished". :D

But props for your generosity. One of my neighbors asked if he could borrow my truck to haul some stuff across town. I told him "Hell naw, but if you want me to chauffer you out to grab stuff, I'll do it".

Was driving from Virginia to Florida about 2 years ago (after already owning it for 3) when I stumbled across that glorious vent. Realized right then I never wanted another truck.
