    I'm not totally sure to be honest. I could see headlights pointed south of us, and bodies crossing in front of the headlights at or above waistline (so truck or SUV). Gunfire was rapid, but in bursts of 5-9 rounds. This is a ways off, foggy, and snowing so it was hard to see. Not far enough away a 5.56 caliber couldn't reach my location. It didn't sound like the weapon had a compensator on it (not as loud) and I couldn't really see a flash (so most likely a run of the mill AR style weapon).

    Kilo and I were out of bed after the first few shots. Wife slept like a baby. :rolleyes: She was "are you sure it was gunfire?" Which I gave her this look...

    ...and then it started again. Confirmed.

    The vehicle sped off before LE could arrive. Probably by a couple minutes.
