    I’ve owned a TRD supercharged 2nd gen & Sequoia. I prefer the 3rd gen.

I think you’re making the right choice.

Do you have to sell the 2017?

That's like the Mecca of Tundra's

Sit on the hard leather seat that platinum has, then sit on the Limited softex seat which is much softer. Pay attention to the hardness

Last year before the TSS. 2018 was the first year for system.

Mecca huh. From personal experience, if a gun was put to my head and I had to buy another Tundra it would be a 2023. Or at least an 18+ over a 17. A few of the issues I had with my 2017 Platinum with 50k miles were:

    - Halogen headlights and fog lights. They were terrible and plain dangerous.
Replaced them with the 18+ LEDs which were better but still not great.
    - Instrument cluster was not backlit unless headlights or parking lights were on.
Bad design decision and can’t name another vehicle in its class at that time
    without a backlit cluster.
    - Interior lighting was non existent and a number of buttons were not even lit.
    Seeing a pattern here?
    - XM receiver (or poor antenna location) would lose the signal often and have
difficulty picking it back up if at all. Never had an issue with any of our
other vehicles in the same exact areas. Many on the forum complained about
it. JBL system was hot garbage.
    - Auto headlights would occasionally just turn off at night. Would jiggle the
switch and they would come back on. Another known issue on the forums.
Dealer could not replicate and wouldn’t do anything but I didn’t push it as I knew I wasn’t keeping it.
    - No inside storage whatsoever.
    - No 4A. My 2002 4Runner had it and is very nice with inclement weather or
    slippery conditions.
    - No adaptive cruise. TSS was a nice upgrade for the 18+.
    - 20” clown wheels. Can’t tell you the number of people that commented
negatively on the wheels. I replaced the wheels and tires pretty quickly.

Only reason I bought it was because the firm I own was doing engineering work for several new dealerships and I knew the owner and GM well, and wanted to reciprocate. Wasn’t sad when I traded it a few weeks ago. OP- best of luck whatever you do.

OK. Sorry your tundra sucked. I got off the Tundra bandwagon in 2012.

Oh man 2017 is the best year, trans cooler, no TSS, updated gen2.5 style. It’s the pinnacle of simplicity essentially. Buy new, keep both and rock on. I miss my 2017 which never harassed me about anything like the front radar needs cleaning while in a blizzard etc. On the hot crazy matrix, 2017 is the wife zone and 2023 is the Danger Zone.

No it won’t fit, I knew that before I bought it.
3 car garage, might sell my jeep move the wife’s car over and might fit in an angle, I’ll try it next weekend.

Beautiful truck. Not in the market at the moment but am swaying towards Platinum (over TRD Pro) after seeing this.
