    DD368F77-C291-4C0F-814C-7E08F5143A1E.jpg Hello!

I just recently picked up a Pro! I miss my Taco but with kids I needed more room. The truck came with the factory tow mirrors but I have no need for them. Anybody out there with the standard Pro mirrors that wants to upgrade to these and trade? I’m located in VT.

Or does anybody have a good lead on quality aftermarket mirrors that will accomplish the desired result? Dealership quoted me $1700 per mirror for the standard Pro mirror. Seems a bit steep!

I have a pair of stock mirrors off my 2014 SR5. I put after market tow mirrors on my truck. My stock mirrors are in the shed. I think they’re in good shape. I do know they don’t have puddle lights. Let me know if your interested. I wouldn’t want much for them. Maybe $75. Probably cost half that to ship.

Nice truck! It can be done but can cost up to $6k. My dealer refused to do it because it's such a pain in the ass.

I'm getting used to my tow mirrors but would still like to swap them out someday since I never tow.

You might wanta keep them in case you get a camper or box trailer for hauling stuff. Yes, $1700 sounds ridiculous.

The cost is absolutely insane. I’m getting used to them after a few days now as well but still not a fan and would love to seen them gone. They definitely cause blind spots at a few of my local intersections and folding them in every time I park in my garage is lame too.

My dealer also refused to swap for the tow mirrors. The harnesses are different.

They are different but they exist and the swap is totally possible. It's just a pain in the ass. It's weird that they flat refuse.

Hopefully in the near future it will be more common and someone will do a write up. A lot of owners who has tow mirrors wants regular mirrors and vice versa. If you have both vehicles side by side then all the parts in theory will be ready to swap.

Do tow mirrors cause additional wind noise or whistling?

Most of us wouldn't even notice "additional" wind noise LOL.

If you fart while driving, you've made more wind noise than the tow mirrors.

I assume this was the mirrors and wiring harness? Are you aware of someone documenting this process? Link?

Do we know if they will at least plug in and some feature will not work... or are they two different plugs?
