I decided not to post this in the suspension thread because it may get buried in digital mush. Reached out to ICON about fitting my truck (2022 SR5 non-TRD with rear airbags~NOT AVS) with something that would lessen the relatively harsh ride of a Westcott lift with 34.5 Cooper tires.

John (@ ICON) recommended the following....wondering if anyone has installed a similar set up and is willing to provide feedback on ride quality.

    See below:
As far as basic bolt in kits go, my stage 4 kit is going to be a great start. This is standard internal reservoir coilover, standard 2.0 smooth body rear shocks, new upper control arm to get the alginment right in the front and manage travel correctly, and a sway bar drop kit to correct your sway bar placement with the new setup.
    https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...undra-2-35-stage-4-suspension-system-tubular/

Any 4wd Tundra without the TRD axles is going to need the help of a diff drop to keep the front axles safe under travel
    https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/accessory/24402/icon-accessories-22-23-tundra-diff-drop-kit/

Thanks ICON and John for your recommendations.

    Feedback anyone????

I have a 2023 SR5 with the rear air as well. I did the full stage 4 kit from Icon paired with the airbag spacer lift kit from ReadyLift (only used the rear components. spacer for air bag, bump stop drop, etc). I wanted to lift the rear without having inflate the airbags more with the ride lever adjustment! So far I love it! Here's some pictures!

Didn't get a PM...love the look of the truck!!! Curious if your set up drives like stock or better? I am probably going to keep the Westcott bracket for the airbags because the bags themselves are not fully extended in normal drive mode. But I do want the truck to handle bumps, etc. better than what it is doing right now.

Following this if there are any updates? I have the same truck with air bags in the rear as well. Thanks!

Spoke to ICON last week. They are in the final stages of verifying fitment of their kits with the AVS & Air Ride vehicles. They mentioned their last step is pertaining to the rear air ride height adjustment brackets, etc. Hopefully something soon that is fully validated and ready to ship!

This is awesome news! Thank you for the update. I wonder if it’ll be a 3/1” lift. Unsure how they will bracket the rear but maybe a spacer under the air ride bag to bring the rear end up a tad. ‍♂️

Watching and following this trend for I have the same truck.. I've been going to a few local overland meets to see what people are running... sorry if I offend anyone .. I'm not stealing ideas, just want to know before I spend good money on some junk parts..recently I came across a rear air bag with a spacer, it look junk ASF. Tried talking with the guy but he was reluctant to give any information. We had a decent lift, full bed rack and tent setup.. it's just that spacer look suspect.. the mounting , it looks angled and crooked. The welds look like shit...

Oh wow, If I’m going to do a lift or spacer in my $50k+ truck vehicle, I’d like something that has been tested and verified because this looks like it might fail under load or in an in opportune time. You saw it in person and said it looks crooked so it’s not just the picture playing tricks. Definitely following for more updates. Hopefully icon dials something in soon. I spoke with Mike at dobinson and they do not have anything for the rear air bags yet and said he is not confident yet how they are going to do the rear. The front they have dialed but I don’t want the front at 2” with a negative rake.

Honestly looked liked they tried to modify a lift from RAM.. the rear end / suspension almost looks identical to a RAM. I hope there will be a way to put , 1. A bigger / taller bag 2. An actual spacer / mount designed for the Toyotas

Yes I bet there will be a way to achieve both of your points. Unfortunately our trucks are still to new and product testing and development will take a while so a half ass solution is not put out into the market with the chances of it being unsafe. But I will be patiently waiting rolling around stock until the rear is figured out. These trucks ride really well factory which is really nice. I expected a harsh ride for some reason but its very comfortable so astheltics aside, I am not in a rush to get something as an temporary solution even though I really want it lol. I

I am running dobinson coils with bilstein shocks on my 4runner and I love the ride quality. I really want to do the complete dobinson shock and coild assembly up front but it will lift it too high without that rear solution so I am stuck not being able to.

I am looking at their basic system and wondering what makes this not compatible with the rear load leveling system we all have here? Is it the rear shock length that might over extend the air bags in the rear? I do not know enough yet about the rear load leveling so I am reading up on it just for my knowledge but any extra info you know would be cool. Thank you

All I have been told by ICON is that they are working to complete their testing with this system and the ICON kits to verify the proper rear heights etc. I'll fill everyone in more once I get more information. I am staying on them pretty closely as I would like to order a setup from them as soon as its released.
