Saw this yesterday.

 

Care to enlighten the foreigners?

 

Probably need to remove or cover up the previous year's sticker. I'm glad we got rid of that crap. Those stickers always looked like shit.

 

In Alberta, before we got rid of the stickers, the month that your registration was up for renewal went in the top left corner and the year would alternate between the bottom left and right corners.

Once people started renewing online and getting their stickers in the mail, I started seeing some interesting sticker location combos.

 

Lol, they covered up the month sticker.
The month sticker never changes, just the year every time you renew.

 

The month changes if you forget to renew on time. I did that on the wife's rig while we were in the middle of our move. Totally spaced it and was 3 months overdue before I remembered to do it.

 

Texas had those stickers for a while. Lowlifes started cutting the corner off of plates with valid registration, trimming it down, and gluing it to their plates. Now it's a sticker on the inside of the windshield.

 

Ours is based on last name and never changes, even if you renew a month late because you were working nights for turnaround and couldn't even remember your own name, let alone anything else.

 

Damn dude, you don't have to brag about your 3 free months!

 

If you let the year tabs stack up too much here, a shitbag could just walk up and pull half of the stack off by hand.

 

Okay, fine. I'll pick 'em up.

She did go…she was my diamond dummy. Allowed me to blast thru in the HOV lanes both ways.

Ironically, they were so well protected and on a custom pallet that I didn’t inspect much. I just made sure the exposed parts were not damaged. There is about a quarter-sized rub on the powder coat (down to metal), which was from rubbing on the wood pallet. I expected a lot more shipping damage so just smiled and signed the form.

Already have some touch-up paint being delivered tomorrow. Finally ordered the rattle can primer and paint that @NWPirate recommended.

 

I really wish I had ordered the extra tied downs with my Diamondback. I thought I did but it must have slipped my mind when I placed the order. Now shipping almost doubles the price. I'm at nearly $170 CAD for 4 of the friggen things.

 

Probably goes without saying but warm up the cans and start with light coats. It should turn out reeeeal nice.

 

Are they installed yet?

 

I emptied out my Good Stuff and don't feel like going into town for a "quick brown bag"..

Beer will do for the evening BUT dam that does .look Good..
