Dave would want it for the steering wheel. The driver’s seat is garbage.

In all honesty I don't think you need this, especially if you're just doing one stud. I did 10 studs on my camry the other day. Just need a stack of washers and a lugnut or 2 you don't care about.

Or as @Festerw said just get a die to run down it. I used an m12x1.50 for the front studs of the camry since they were in decent shape and it worked fine. As long as the stud isn't completely mangled you'd be fine.

Think McDonalds, but homemade. Super common around my neck of the woods, but I don't usually see them elsewhere. Super duper common if you're in the Blue Ridge area here.

That's literally exactly what I said :D But there's also something to be said about grabbing one thing, "the right tool for the job", slapping it on and getting it done. Buy once, use it for a lifetime. Never gotta dig in the hardware bin. The Lisle tools are nice because they naturally spin, and seat more evenly than a stack of washers.

I wouldn't personally do this or recommend it, and here's why: If the lugnut isn't going on cleanly, and neither is another lugnut, those threads have likely seen some over-torquing, and are stretched, and are weakened. Sure, a temporary workaround could be to throw a die on it, but you're almost certainly dealing with a compromised fastener, and are at risk of shearing with every use.

Sometimes I get too excited to reply and miss a few words lol.

Fair. Unless you lightly whacked it with a hammer or something, I see your point.

I put a different set of wheels on my shitbox and needed the threads to go all the way down the lugnut. Which they did but they had a few small imperfections since they had not been used. Front were decent enough to run a die down but backs were so bad I had to replace. Still ended up way cheaper than buying new tires when I had another set of wheels with good tires.

Well at least crackie is driveable. Can’t say if you can drive the rolla to work and back without a replacement hood.

There must not be enough people hunting deer in Kentucky. I mean what are the odds that this keeps happening to the same family in such close succession?

    Oh deer.

Looks like Muhlenberg needs some damn wolves to be reintroduced.

OR you need to pick another shift that's more conducive to your luck!

I saw two deer about the size of the one in the pic as I was getting off the interstate to pick up my blower motor resister at the dealership. Just chilling. Grazing. Oblivious to all the traffic. Immediately thought of your ass

    Good lord boy.

I've been close to hitting a deer here once so far. A guy I work with has hit three in the last few months. Think it's just the living in the middle of nowhere thing.

You must have a lot more than we do. I only know one person that's hit a deer. Even in our rural areas it doesn't seem to be as big of an issue as it is for you all.

Noah and I work very similar shift yeah. I live closer to town though I guess is the big difference. Think he has a lot more backroads driving.

Someone needs to let him know the flashing AC button is likely the compressor ground strap being loose, or a failed connection of ground or power to the compressor.

Not always the case, but given the condition of everything else, I'd almost bank on that being what it is.

I'll read all this shit when I get to work. Dad and I pulled crackies bumper out with the silver truck and I cut the excess off with my Sawzall.

Tundra2 way is to keep truckin! Born on a mountain, raised in a cave, truckin and fuckin is all I crave.

Deadly combo. Those little bastards are like largemouth, typically most active within an hour or three of dawn/dusk.

I don't think the family is cursed. I think it's locale and work schedule that's at the heart of it.

Meat's not good after animals have an adrenaline surge and go into shock. Instant death, I'd be all in.

EDIT: Not saying I wouldn't eat it, or at least make some bottom round venison jerky out of it, but ... I swear you can taste something off about the meat.
