when i was in auto tech i had an alignment rack where you parked on ball bearing pads to make the adjustments easier, but with a fancy scale and a couple fast food trays you can do it at home.

Can ya give us a write up on this? :) Looks guuud!
    Shiiiit, say less.... "NoVeLtY" :duh:

Yeah, I'll take a peek at it. You want anything for that stuff if you're willing to part with the receiver too?

You tryna sell that Mr. C-Bee?

Looks like the "UHF" radios on Scamazon are right about the same price point I was looking at for CBs... Needs more research.

    Now more research. GAH! LOL

The programming is the problem. Usually costs a decent bit for someone to program. The name brand units anyway.

    This is the unit. LINK
Will receive but not picking up voice when using the mic. Think the mic is just bad.

Ordered Bi-Led projectors from Ghina. Should be in in a week or so. I hardly drive ye olden Tundra but when I do and its late enough I need the headlights, the pathetic output of the LED bulbs in Chinesium chrome headlights just pisses me off. LOL. No sir, not good enough. I will bake them bitches open and throw the projectors in there soon enough. Love me some projector output width and cut off. Might even throw some switchback rings on there this time to act as DRL/turn signals. Meh.

When asked "how are you?" I typically respond "I'm doing fine...I don't have any problems that can't be solved with money". A broken bolt, however, seems to violate that paradigm. Your situation looks easy, just drill and tap. Coil packs can easily be solved with money. I bought 4 new ones last year (Denso @ $55/ea), and now that I've had eyes on the 4 I thought were good enough to keep I've decided to get 4 more. Good luck! When you look at it with fresh eyes in the morning you'll see that you complex problem is just a series of small, manageable steps.

You may call it a rabbithole. I call it a neverending headache.
On my last truck, I had mounted 3 (7"?) HID's on the bumper, and they were awesome. Made night into day. They were the red ring sealed offroad units, with the ballast inside. Anyways, liked em so much that I bought the kit for the headlights, and they were bright enough, but always having problems. First of all, you can't focus/aim them properly in OEM fixtures, there is no cutoff, and you're always blinding oncoming traffic. Besides that, they failed often. I bought several replacement bulbs, ballasts, and even a 2nd complete kit at one point. I'd just about guarantee it's one of those finicky ass ballasts. Also, alot of those ballasts won't even fire if it's not getting at least 12V. Put the entire kit in the trash can and you'll thank me later. Don't start tearing up your truck wiring/fusebox.
Projector bulbs work nice without having to open the housings.. I do like the rings tho

Yeah I grabbed a set of those little projectors to install in some factory fogs. The cut off is decent, but the spread is not very wide. I just need to rotate them so they will be nice and horizontally level when installed and not all jacked at a crazy angle up due to how the stock 9006 bulbs sit in the housings.

Appreciate the mangler shout out shift! I had two on the VC job, same one on each side. If this happens to anyone else, go straight to drilling them out. I wasted a ton of time involving a map torch, welder, etc. None of it worked and had to drill them out. Those bolts are made of veal.

I would at least keep a spare in the truck. If one fails your truck can also go into limp mode as another member experienced.

Well, there was a damn "deer" on tooley hill this AM going home. Like I said, we're real guuuud at cheatin death.

Big drop off on the right hand side of the road where I was heading until I seen the "deer" on the left hand side and steered towards em trying to get em..... in my dreams.

Anyways, I could have went off in the drop off and hit the big patch of oak tress about 50 feet down at 30° embankment...

Here goes these pictures! Them brakes work REAL GUUD had the whole bitch locked up too! Standing on the rectangle!!!

I was in 2WD when all this happened. I put the truck in reverse and spun them tarrrs. Stopped, put light pressure on the skinny pedal and got them tarrs spinning again, popped it into 4WD and was on my way home in 2.5 seconds.

Here's pictures of crackie at home.

you guys should keep all the road trophy's you've been getting lately, just tell the county you paid for it
glad you're good and hope its only the bumper, you guys sure do have some bad luck with hitting things lol, I just randomly looked and was surprised that there are 18 first gen tundras in the boneyard not 10 minutes from my house....as soon as I get the truck back together the game will be afoot to find some leather seats in decent shape.

    Grr,
I just replaced my driver door with a used one. While I was in there, I upgraded my speakers. (cut & spliced the speaker wire).
Now my power locks only lock, not unlock. Any idea what happened or what could be wrong?

Damn man, glad you’re ok. If it weren’t for bad luck right? I have a brand new in the wrapper crash bar for the front bumper if you need it. Hit me up. I got it with my new front bumper and didn’t end up needing it.

p.s. it’s free.99 and I’ll meet you halfway if you need it.

No sense in half assing it. Full cow catcher is needed for this application.

I was thinking sharp 1 foot spikes on an integrated brush guard steel bumper, but that works as well. Visibility isn’t great though.

They worked grear for about a year and a half before the Passenger one quit. Grabbed new bulbs/ballasts thinking i just killed one but that wasnt the issue and have been chasing it since. I do have Southpaw Retros so cutoff and everything was great. Also make it hard to just swap back to a standard bulb or i would have already tried that just to have lights again.
