I leave mine off all the time and dark mode when I need it hoping it will last longer. I keep my vehicles for 15-20 years.

I just came across this setting myself last night. So relaxing with the screen turned off. I wish there was a hot button on the carplay home screen to turn it off or a swipe gesture that could work universally across all menus to turn it off. Toyota? Are you listening?

One of my biggest complaints with the truck. The lack of physical buttons to toggle through radio functions and inability to turn off the screen with a single press is quite annoying.
