Did or does anyone do cookie decorating parties, you don’t have to say yes…..
I remember as a kid we would do them every year usually before Easter I think, and every family would bring their own cookies to decorate and some to share. So it was a Smorgasburg of different cookies and those silver BBs all over the floor for months to come!

    send me some!!

They’re out here. Also, Monster makes them at 6.6%. Never knew that until I saw them at the grocery store yesterday getting steaks

Obviously nobody ever truly knows what the future holds, but it's looking pretty unlikely at this point in time. I have very high standards, and there are a fair amount of things that I am simply unwilling to compromise on. I also am not a big fan of being told what to do, whether it be what I can or can't spend my money on, or places I can and can't go, or things I can or can't do. I'm definitely open to the perfect person but they would have to literally make their own way into my life cuz I am not actively searching. I'm all about spontaneity and freedom. I love being able to get done with my short week at work and decide that I'm going to go on a road trip at the drop of a hat and a kid sure would put a stop to that.

For some reason (I'm assuming it has to be treading lightly around the name mountain dew because it's a common drink for people under 21) it's a very strange and delayed nationwide rollout.

I hate it, growing up with a diabetic meant all the sodas were diet, I grew to hate DMD after about 8th grade. I don’t drink much soda at all really now. It’s usually water or tea.

Alright...so Sedro-Woolley is a small town that's been transitioning the past few decades, away from lumber. The entire valley, along with Burlington and Mount Vernon are surrounded by farming. If you're out to take in the area, then plan to go for a drive. Not knowing what you're looking for, I'll throw out:
    • Hwy 20 - Go east as far as you want/can. Think the pass is still closed for the winter near the peak, but it's a nice drive especially if you can reach Diablo Lake. If you're trying to be gluten free, 5B's Bakery in Concrete is probably the best GF bakery in the state.
    • In the valley area, La Conner is a small tourist town with fun shops and restaurants. Edison is a small one-street town with a good brewery and some nice restaurants.
    • If you want do a bit of a drive, head out to Whidbey Island from the north end (bridge; no ferry ride) and just check out the scene. Coupeville, Langley, Deception Pass State Park and Fort Casey are fun. Get amazing sandwiches at Greenbank Pantry and Deli.
    • Another fun drive is picking up Chuckanut Drive at the south end (near Edison) and driving north along the water to Fairhaven. Fairhaven is a three-square block town full of window shopping and good restaurants. Stop at Taylor Shellfish on the way for fresh oysters if that's your thing.
If your trip is delayed, the annual Tulip Festival runs in April. I'm not a flower person, but it is still pretty cool to take it all in. If you're here April 15th, take in the one day each year that the PACCAR Tech Center is open to the public. This is the parent company of Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. They do all their testing here and they show you the labs, destructive testing and all the cool stuff they do. https://www.paccar.com/products-services/paccar-technical-centers/

If you want to take in the San Juan Islands, you might be able to drive on and check them out. The State does a reservation system now and I'm not sure if "drive-ons" are still feasible. I think you can also just park at the Ferry dock and walk-on for the ride.

97?! Are you kidding me? She looks a solid 80 at the most. Amazing she's that "senior" and still rocking the volunteer hours!
