Welp, RIP Tundra. Hit and run driver while it was parked in front of my house. And I NEVER leave it out there. Except my driveway was full. Took the truck up to snowboard today and buddy left his vehicle in my full driveway. Oh ya, buddy broke his collar bone on the first run today so we came back early

 

Holy hell, what even can run away from wreckage like that still moving?

I really enjoyed this build dang

 

I think I'm gonna focus back on my M3 for a bit. I kinda left off in the middle of an interior redo when I started the jeep project. About the only mechanical thing it needs is rod bearing replacement. And I've been putting off that $2500 shop visit for three years. So I'm gonna call and get that scheduled next week. It's been under a stupid good warranty since I bought it in 2015. Paid it off in 2018, but I got a lifetime warranty on it, bought it at an exotic car dealership and they talked me into it. Warranty was $4500 and has so far paid for itself off more than double. I always hand them a sheet of issues and say milk warranty for everything you can lol. They replaced the SMG hydraulic transmission pump, I paid $100, they paid $5200 lol.

 

The customizations that I've done, myself, include the follow:

• Mishimoto electric radiator fan (crank fan delete)
• Mishimoto oil cooler
• Full custom audio system
• Sony android Auto/Carplay HU with backup camera
• Jl audio hd5/900 amp
• Forget name of sub but it's an infinite baffle specific sub, 10" and is pretty awesome.
• Wireless phone charging center console area
• Apex Arc-8 staggered 18" wheels (OEM 19" staggered set in storage but 18" are more comfortable ride)
• Pilot Sport 4s tires
• Blacked out corner reflectors
• Clear euro style corner lenses
• Stubby antenna

Spoke with insurance this morning. They again asked me if I could take it to a shop, but after telling them it's not drivable, they offered to send out an adjuster to my house. Will take place on Wednesday. Not really anything else I can take off the truck until they look at it. Will have to spend tomorrow putting the factory intake manifold back together so it at least runs

 

Sucks! Any luck with the neighbor's cameras?

 

No luck, unfortunately. And not holding my breathe on that either.
