    Hi all,

I have a black 2020 and am looking to add the OE Bushwacker flares for protection. Was thinking about leaving them unpainted as I have a black truck. Anyone have pictures of their truck with flares that left them black instead of painting to match the body? Thanks!

Have you moved forward with the project? I have been thinking about installing flares, and also have a 2020 black Tundra. I belive one would save about $500 by not paint matching them.

    Alot of them
2 points on this. One is that if you run flares with stock wheels, the wheels will look sunken into the wheel wells. The other, after a while, the unpainted flares will start to stain....from bird crap, road grime, etc. I had mine Line-X'ed.

Bushwackers smooth. No staining after 3yrs. I have used Mothers back to black a few times.

I found a thread with someone who has a black truck with unpainted flares. Looks pretty good.
