    Hello, All.

    My name is Mark.

    I'm new here.

I have 2019 Tundra Limited 2wd Offroad package.

A shop recently installed Bilstein 5100 shock middle setting on my 2019 Tundra Limited 2wd Offroad.

After installation, the truck lean to driver side about 3/4inches.

Later, I found out that tundra front driver and passenger side springs' load rating are different.

So It has to be installed, driver side spring on driver side and passenger side on passenger side.

I asked the shop about that and they said they are not sure which side of the springs they used to install.

So at this point, I don't know they installed the springs correctly.

I saw some thread about front springs color code for 4wd tundra, but I was not able to find front springs color code for 2wd tundra.

So if you have 2wd tundra would you mind sharing your front springs color code so that I can figure out which one is driver side and passenger side?

    Thank you so much!

My tundra front driver side spring is 'Sky Blue' Color
and Passenger side spring is 'Green' Color

Welcome. Not sure if this will work for you but another option is shims for the driver side to address the lean. Very common and should be able to lift in 1/4" increments. Coach builder is a popular option.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I just wanted to clarify first that the shop installed the springs correctly.

And then I can move forward to fix the difference using shims.

I saw some tundra leaning towards driver side even though they installed correct springs.

So it might be originally like that but it’s hard to ignore the possibility that the shop installed springs incorrectly.

    Thank you for your reply.

The other thing to do is to hit up autotrader and find a 2019 2wd near you and just go take a peek.

Yes. That is one of my options too.

I already found one truck exactly same as mine, so I will go and take a look next week.

    Hope that works

Based on the lean you have, they must have got them on the wrong side. As long as the clip height is set the same on both sides.

Easy fix though, swap the full strut assemblies left to right and then it should be good.

I checked the clips and both are on same middle set.

I saw a video about putting 3/1 leveling kit on 3rd gen tundra 4x4.
After installation, he mentioned that there is lean towards drivers side about half inch.
(In the video, it seems he installed the correct springs)

So this video made me think lean towards driver side about 3/4 inches is maybe original factory set…
(Of course I don’t like that)

Today I went to dealer that has same model as mine(2019 Tundra 2wd offroad package)

They were so nice to let me check the front springs color code.

    Here is the results

    Stock spring color code
    Driver side : Green
    Passenger side : Sky Blue

    so ‘crikeymike’ you were right!
The shop installed the springs wrong side.

Im going to swap the whole strut assembly next week.

Hope it fixes my leaning problem.

Thank you all for your suggestions, thoughts and solutions!
    I really appreciate it!
