Hahaha yeah it’s the worst, then the more you drink, the more you have to urinate! This is why I’ve passed out on public transportation on different occasions, I don’t like that feeling of zero control

For T2S we won't be using GMRS frequencies. If you bought one of the two Baofengs Sunny and I linked, you'll be able to talk to everyone else.

Some, but not all Baofengs might come out of the box unable to transmit on GMRS in order to be FCC compliant, but you can probably get around that by programming the channels with your computer and a USB cable.

The manual will tell you how to get into frequency mode and from there you can just punch in whatever frequency is being used. It's likely there will be multiple frequencies used so different trail groups don't talk over each other.

CB operates in the 26-28MHz range, so no. We will most likely all be using VHF/HAM bands in the 140s/150s

Nope, CB will be useless on the trails unless you have someone else with a CB AND Baofeng relaying messages for you.

CB is in the 26-27 MHz range, requires a different type of antenna. The frequencies we will be using will probably be in the 140-160 MHz range.
