Oddly, that spot on the diagram is where I have mine now. But inside the taillight cavity seems better to me, more protected.

Someone has a set of 4 with tires listed east of ATL for $375, but when I emailed to ask if he'd split them up (it's off a parts truck), no response. Super weird. Then 2-3 days later, I saw him post pics of the actual parts truck. Wheels are in great shape too, tires just OK. I may reach back out again on it.

I feel like when I looked up the EWD, my '06 had it up under the dash, closer to the kick panel.

@daveeasa curious, how does it work internally? I don't tow heavy shit often enough to've ever needed a controller. I haul more than I tow.

 

You vvti FGT’s have it so good.

Two types of controllers for towing. Brake controller modulates brake pedal in the truck to trailer brakes. So you can adjust for heavy vs light loads and not lock up trailer wheels. That’s entirely independent.

The standard tow module combines brake and turn signals to a single circuit per side. Cause trailers only have one light, low for parking light, flash for turn, bright for brake.

 

Was anyone asking about headlight boots? Or was that TW? These seem to fit my headlights perfectly.

I believe mine was also in the tail light cavity on D-side for crackie. The V6 had nothing of the sort except my curt I installed that shorted out. Anyways, if y'all happen to be looking... I'd love an OEM replacement for the 4-flat, but my repair suits me fine too.
